ASUS Delivered, Where Others Didn't!

Nice little router. I never read instruction how to set up new devices and got a difficult start here. But on the end everything is fine and properly works.

Asus is always good choice

It is a great wifi router especially for traveling with the same free security standards as their home router setup. It was fairly easy to setup on the open wifi network to create a private secure hotspot.

Great system. Clearer/streamer way to find where the available wifi is to switch to for on the go would be nice.

So far this was a good extension of AImesh using guest network pro.   Easy install.  Just make sure you are connected to the main router with a wire prior to configuring.

In expensive mesh alternative and can travel too

So far, so good. The ASUS website provided canned documentation that did not provide accurate info on how to setup the WISP interface. Thanks to Perpelxity I did get the WISP config to work. Note: It looks like only one SSID can be active regadless of which ISP is the host. Tried it at home. Visted a local office with its own open WiFi. Connected there. I setup VPN Fusion and that seemed wo work as well....Next step..the cruise! Wb s

RT-AX57 Go - Initial Tests are working.....

This is advertised as a Travel Router.  The setup process requires access to the admin account and the ASUS router software.  But it is not possible to perform the setup if your main home network is also an ASUS router, because the home router IP address is the same as the IP address for the travel router, and there appears to be no way to  fix this, other than finding some other non-ASUS network to temporarily use.  This is unacceptable.

Problems with configuration of RT-AX57 router

Awesome router. Works well with a stable connection. Then why only 3 stars? The web gui doe snot load properly on safari browser. Forced to use the phone app to set it up. ASUS please fix web gui.
