I bought this ASUS TUF VG27AQ3AZ monitor on December 20, 2025 and it delivers sharp QHD clarity, smooth 180Hz performance, fast IPS response with no ghosting, excellent color accuracy for work, stable 120Hz support on PS5 for gaming, strong build quality, zero dead pixels out of the box, solid brightness and viewing angles, and overall it feels like a well balanced display for both productivity and competitive gaming worth the money.

Great Monitor!

This display is working out great. The 180 Hz refresh rate  is excellent for gaming and the contrast is as good or better than on my previous Samsung 24" T350.

A few users have mentioned the tinny sound of the built-in speakers. While they lack in bass response, they are more than adequate for the dialogue in RPG games.

I upgraded from an older 144 hz version of this monitor that served me well for many years, I trust this one to be just as good and better than my last. I use it for gaming and know it is not the latest or greatest out there. that being said if you are budget minded this is a great option. not the cheapest but well-built and performs well also. I use it as my main screen in a two- screen setup and next to the scepter 75 hz it is night and day difference in picture quality.
I highly recommend this monitor.

You get what you pay for

Very good quality has some ips glow on dark backgrounds but easily ignorable allows me to see players from miles away easily in games like dayz and hollow knight looks fantastic and colorful and crisp on this monitor would recommend it just be mindful when buying ips your bound to get some glow.

Quality product

Bigger than 24” screen, but with higher resolution increases the number of programs and files I can look at simultaneously, increasing my productivity and comfort. The screen is so big that at the wrong angle, the edges of the screen may appear darker, but I generally don’t notice this while I am actively working. Wish the screen height could be adjusted, but that’s the trade off with this model, which is otherwise functioning as expected as a display.

highest quality item for the lowest price anywhere else i had looked, a good upgrade that i was looking for and at a price that was reasonable to how much i could spend.

This monitor is amazing for the price.  I have yet to find any flaws which is unexpected as i usually will find at least 1 thing i don't like, but i have nothing bad at all to say about this monitor. Performs exceptionally well for productivity and gaming. The menu is easy to navigate and customizing your calibration is a breeze. The picture quality is literally top notch for a ,monitor in this price range. I was able to achieve a natural look which most monitors struggle to do. 10 out of 10 and 5 stars!

Asus knocked it out of the park with this one.

bought it for a ps5 and no joke it has pretty good motion blur handiling,overshoot handiling,and the vrr even works with the ps5 its crazy so you can actually use 120fps and vrr, I'm assuming games like the last of us part 1 and part 2 remaster will work at there 120fps modes because when i had the other screen it did 120 but could not use the vrr on that one however this one is amazing and you can't get anything better than this one i really hope they never discontinue this model it is worth every penny and then some now i would say even tho its 1440p id still buy it even for a ps4 pro idk about base ps4 but the pro definitely the reason being is because it does accept the 4k 2160p resoulution i guess you can say it works kinda how a 720p screen works a 720p tv is 1360x768 or 1366x768 useually 1366x768 but it accepts the 1080p resoulution and just downscales essentially the same as the 1440p using the 4k resoulution on ps5 or ps4 pro it looks incredible plays so well works so well and didnt really half to do much straight out of the box i turned up the speakers too 100 because we all know you half to with monitors built in speakers if you wanna at least mostly hear everything lol oh and yeah it has built in speakers now idk how well it looks on movies yet but im sure it will look great tho it has 2 hdmi ports which is perfecr because if you are like me and have a dedicated blu ray player and a game console it really comes in handy considering most  hdmi extender adapters that give you more hdmi ports give you imput lag n so on its always better to plug it straight into the tv or monitor now if the speakers arent good enough for you they got you covered there too if you have pc speakers laying around they will prob work it has a headphone port and a usb port so not sure if the usb works for audio but hey if it does thats awesome too this monitor is the best one ever n ive had all kinds of screens tv and monitor alike the only tv that you can get on a budget that vrr works on with ps5 is the crappy vizio tvs that walmart decided to take over and ruin  onn brand sucks for video not bad for sound tho and sense vizio is basically onn now you can imagine how bad it has gotton with the video they tend to have a bunch of different issues anymore and buyer beware of vizio do not update vizio tvs you will make the image and everything worse than it was before the update theres only 2 decent vizio tvs ive found so far the 43 inch 4k and the 50 inch 4k the $198/$228 43 inch and the $198/$214 50 inch depending on if you buy it online or in store they are usually the vfd43m-0804 or the vfd50m-0804 models if i remember the model numbers correctly but yeah anyways this monitor is amazing even for consoles!!!!!!!!

The colors are much richer than my previous laptop screen and even a step up from a nice Survey 1080p monitor, The new laptop has a higher resolution screen so I figured it sort of crucial to have something that can match or maximize a secondary display, it has speakers inside of this monitor, however, they are very low in sound and am glad I have speakers that will utilize the headphone jack built into the monitor. 
I think I should also add, this monitor has the quickest installation of any I’ve had, the base connects quick and has built in modern wing nut style tighteners built onto the base, and all you have to screw in is 4 screws which is made easy by the way the back is built to hold the piece for you.

Best monitor I've ever purchased. Perfect for first person shooters, gaming in general. Best $150 I've ever spent on a screen.
