ZenDrive U7M (SDRW-08U7M-U) will not work on HP OMEN 16L  It shows that the driver is corrupted (code 39).  Tried all USB ports.  Works fine on an HP laptop, both using Windows 11.

Bought this item at my local store that has an online presence. Tried installing it with the software provided (I have an up to date Win 10) and it crashed. The software provided on the CD was dated from 2016. A lot of updates have been installed since that year and no update from ASUS.

Needs an up to date installation software

Stopped working after several years. Tried reloading driver a number of times and rebooting computer and disconnecting and connecting unit to no avail.
