It is as described, it has a great picture, sound is fantastic, on lowest one for volume loud and clear. Remote light even with batteries. Great features on remote. DVD player battery charged lasted as described, four hours. Screen is 15.5 ", great size for price. A must get for the long trips with children. It also comes with car adapter, cable for TV viewing and as mentioned chargeable battery and D/C adapter. Recommended!

I gave it 5 stars because it's a great value for the money as long as you accept it for what it is:an inexpensive portable dvd player with fair sound, decent picture and ease of use. And the sound quality is easily improved by using headphones or an external speaker. If you have dvds or cds  (you definitely need headphones for music) you'd like to play but don't want to spend a lot of money this is a great choice.

Inexpensive but gets the job done

This has been an amazing purchase for our family. Knowing we have a dvd player to use if the power goes out, and using it on longer road trips has been phenomenal. The screen size is great and battery life is very good. Would recc.

Great for family

I've only been using my 15.5" screen Yoton for a couple of weeks, but it works great. It seems to have the exact same features and controls as the Boifun model I had that lasted over two years. However, the Yoton is priced considerably lower. I highly recommend it.

Great DVD player at extremely competitive price!

its a great deal for your money.just wished it was 1080 was only 720 . but still had a good view. really a great buy.

Exactly what I needed for the price I was willing to pay.  Better price than on Amazon also!  I don't have and don't want a TV or all those apps %26 such and also don't have wifi but I missed my movies when cooking or winding down or feeling lonely.  This is SO lightweight and easy to position, the sound isn't phenomenal but it's fine since I'm next to it.  I appreciate the charging cord is long and the screen size is perfect for one!  Note: you can't view the screen from an angle so unless far away it would be hard to share the screen with someone else.  Another downside- there is literally NO pause and play button on the device and like someone else said, the remote is nearly trash.  You have to bang the buttons or it gives you a “can't do that” icon.  So.  If you have a lot of patience and you aren't hard of hearing and you're only one person viewing, you should be good!  Oh one more thing.  The instruction manual sucks and also says in there that there's only 4 hours of watch time.  Not 6

Perfect for the Simple Life

Work well and as advertised. We purchased for an extended vacation. Used in the vehicle and at the hotel.
We were happy overall with this product.
It is not a high definition DVD player. If you are looking for high definition you need to look for something more expensive. Youger children will be very happy. Teens will complain.

Just received love the large screen hard to use %26 a bit overpriced  
but works good so far except sound volume highest level not very loud needs better speakers I purchased to use in my bedroom not good for that  probably ok for  kids traveling in backseat

VOLUME  TOO LOW ON HIGHEST SETTING

I like the larger screen on this one compared to the 13" screen we had on the last one we had.
Before you buy look at the instructions on the inside of the box because it could be different then what it says on the box. For example the last one we bought on the outside of the box it said that the battery would last up to 6 hrs. on a fully charged battery. We bought it and brought it camping with us on the inside on the instructions it said on a fully charged battery we could possibly get up to 2 hrs. We were lucky to get that . we watched a movie that was 118 minutes long and the batteries died at 115 minutes.

Don't always believe what it says on the box.

Worked good for a while but when I had problems  with the battery and lock ups, etc. the company kept giving me the run around and would not stand behind warranty.  I liked it alot  originally so I bought another one for my fiance two months later.  This DVD player has issues too.  Beware of this brand. why should two have problems in a short amount of time?

Dont expect company to stand behind its products.
