Looked at several "postal" scales that were much more expensive. So far, this scale has done exactly what I bought it for, weighing packages for mail and delivery. It is a little smaller than I thought it would be, but it definitely suits my needs. Only downsides for me were the size and that it does not come with the power adapter, luckily I had batteries on hand. The battery compartment was difficult to open at first. Easy to set up and operate. Overall, great buy for the price.

I use this scale almost every day for shipping items. I love it because most of my boxes fall under the 13-pound weight limit of this scale. It's accurate. Easy to use.

Accurate yet inexpensive shipping scale

This item is better than the food scale that I got from Weight Watchers. That one seemed to have problems the this one doesn't. Works really well.

I was very impressed with the design and put the item to same day use. The dial is bright and easy to read and the "tare" feature makes it possible to put an empty container on the unit and get accurate weight readings on any of the multiple scales available.

High quality

The scale seems to function properly and perform as advertised with very limited usage so far. The only problem noted so far is that the unit of measure indication (oz, lb, g, kg) is so tiny that it is impossible to read without a magnifying glass.

Handy device for weighing small items

Easy to operate. Purchased this scale to track gram weight of my baby cockatiel birds.
Placed a wash clothe on scale hit tare and bingo! weight appeared as expected.

Very nice scale

I returned this product because the directions said that it should be calibrated often. The weight for calibration was 11.2 lbs. What can you use that is 11.2 lbs that would fit on the scale? Its kinda hard to find out if something weighs exactly 11.2 lbs when you don't have anything to weigh it on. I checked for a answer to my problem online and it seems that alot of people are having the same problem with some other scales also.

How do you calibrate it?

I got this for postal weighing. It has a Hold button, but you can only activate that feature AFTER a box (or whatever) is put on the scale. It's a small scale. So, if your box or envelope is a few inches larger than the scale (which could easily happen), then you can't reach the Hold button. This made it useless for me.

Seems like it'd be great for weighing small stuff. Was perfectly accurate compared to my previous scale (which I got this to replace because that one only goes up to 5lbs).

Also, noticed a rattling sound once when I moved the scale. When I picked the scale up & tipped it sideways, a small chip (as in, a digital IC chip from the inner circuits, not potato) fell out from somewhere. It had small chunks of solder on the legs so seems like it was previously attached to a circuit board. Didn't test it afterwards to find out if it was still working. It's going back to the store anyway. Maybe it would've been fine & that was an extra, who knows.

If not for the escaped IC Chip, I would've rated it a 3, since it wasn't the scale for what I needed but could be good for some purposes.
