Extremely effective. Easy to use. Performed exactly as advertised. Ill buy this again. I also see many more applications this product would work well in.

Wood rot repair

UC Coatings

Used Liquid Wood in the restoration of a 130+ year old French "Merci" boxcar with excellent results allowing us to restore and reinstall a number of original wood parts. Planning to use most recent purchase to protect new wood for a 116-year-old passenger car rebuild. However, asked a question via the web site regarding application over a borate treatment and have received no response which is disappointing.

Great Product

Just got this in, and couldn't wait to use it on a restoration project i inherited. It's slow drying so it penetration in to the wood is amazing. Leaving good clarity of the wood grain, with a solid waterproof coating. This thing will last forever.

But I wanted to thank the makers of this product for making it possible for me to restore my grandfather's 140 year old DBL shotgun.
Finally finish a project of 3 generations. Hardening the replacement stock that my dad started before I was born, that started to soften in some spots.
With out this product I would not have been able to save the wooden stock.
I was even able to glue some parts together, savings the project from my mistakes.

Easy to use and work with, without drying to fast.

Been using various Abatron products for over 35 years. For the most part all repairs are still in service.

Abatron is really timeless, not an overstatement.

I have been using this product for 25+ years for the restoration of an 1887 Queen Anne. For wood that is to be painted (not stained & varnished) it allows me to skip the replacement of historic woodwork that has been damaged or worn over the years.

Preservation of historic moldings

Best on the market! I have used this for innumerable projects and haven't found anything near as good.

Excellent

I used the LiquidWood as the first treatment then added the wood epoxy to fill in the rotten and missing wood sections of a vinyl clad window sill. The end product is a frame that is harder than the original wood and is resistant to future water issues. These are great products for repairing damaged wood.

Great for repairing windows

The product works well. I was working on a 1860 house that had various decay on a porch. The consolidant stabilized the existing wood before working the epoxy.

Using wood consolidant

So far it's been a life saver. But time will really tell.
