Offers precise detection of small catches.

Abu took this affordable high performance rod to the next level with the lighter, stronger upgrade.  Definitely the best rod I've ever fished with under $100.   I've been fishing with a 7' medium and 7' medium light for all of my finesse bass stuff including drop shot, shaky, light jigs, weightless plastics, etc.  Also been throwing light swimbaits on them for inshore redfish and trout.   The white grips get a little dirty, but they clean off well with soapy water.  I highly recommend these rods!

I like most people was concerned because of the rod being a new item.  Yes it was light, beautiful and sensitive.  I really liked the Powerlux feature on the rod which makes it much stronger and more durable.  All of my concerns disappeared after the first day of use.  It was prim time in Ky for throwing a floating Power Bottom Hopper worm.  I caught numerous bass that day with my new Veritas PLX.   I matched the rod up with a 
ABU MAX PRO SP20 reel.  Man that is one beautiful combination. 
(Lighter, Stronger and More Sensitive)  I has become MY FAVORITE rod and reel of all time.

Lighter/Stronger/More Sensitve

I have been using the PLX Spinning ML 6-10 for Spinbait, Dropshot and ned rig. This rod is super lightweight and very comfortable for hours of fishing. The ML has enough sensitivity and backbone to land 2 and 3 lb spotted bass. I love the 6'10" length for this rod.   Another great product from Abu Garcia.

PLX Superlight Finesse

This new rod fills the spot that was open to fish for stripers and largemouth with smaller artificials.Balances out well and feels comfortable with the reels that I've used with it.Works well with all types of lines that I've used so far.(Braid,fluoro and mono) and have successfully caught many fish.Having a good time with this good looking rod.

Great new addition to my fishing arsenal.

Wow is all I can say! Great rod great price! The rod is defiantly lighter and balanced out well. I have put it through the test and has stayed strong and durable no matter what it has gone through!

Stronger/Lighter

This rod just keeps getting better.  The weight of the rod and its sensitivity are far better than its peers in this price range.  Use this in a kayak and this thing can take a beating.

Veritas

Very happy with the rods performance for the style of fishing I enjoy.(Drop- shotting,plastics,etc.) I used various reels and lines (braid,mono and fluoro) with no problems or concerns.Many positive comments on rods appearance.

Great Rods

The rod its self is very nice, no matter what type of fish happens to nibble at the lure it feels as if its a lunker. Once hooked the rod has allowed me to enjoy a nice fun fight with the Bass all they way to the boat.

Awsome rod!

Rod is beautiful, but then the white grips get dirty quickly, and the biggest flaw of all is the reel seat lock, which if you are like me holding the rod with your left hand and reel with the right, your palm will eventually press down on the reel seat lock and turning it loose, counter clockwise, This is a TERRIBLE design to begin with, and should be redesigned with an extra lock like the previous version of the Veritas spinning rod.
