This classic AccuChef timer times up to 60 minutes with one minute increment. It's easy to use and understand by all ages. The timer works when you turn the timer knob clockwise to the 55-minute mark and then turn counterclockwise to the desired minute mark to activate the mechanism. The alarm will ring when the pointer reaches zero.  This timer can be used for baking, cooking, as a classroom timer, study timer, toddler timer, for improving time management, etc. and it provides a great visual for children to understand the passage of time.  We provide a two-year warranty against defects in material or workmanship. This unit does not require any battery to operate.

Luckily I read the instructions as you have to set it to 55 minutes, then back it up to the actual setting you want.  This is what activates the bell which is nice and loud so you can definitely hear it.

Sturdy, functions well. The angled design makes it easy to read the clock face. Very happy with my purchase!!

The Little Kitchen Helper!!

Easy to use and no need for batteries, but the timer does a little ticking, ticking, ticking until the time is up and it sounds. It can be a bit annoying for some if you keep close to the timer.

I tested this timer against an electronic timer first try 36 seconds too fast second try 15 seconds too slow.
When you want to time food and it cooked longer then it should your food is burnt(steak)

inaccurate

I purchased this timer on December 20, 2024.  On January 10, 2025 I tried to turn the dial to set the timer, heard a snap and it stopped working.  It is very cheaply made in comparison to the timer I previously had that lasted for years.  The only reason I stopped using it, is the numbers have worn off. I marked them on the timer with a black permanent marker but felt it was time I purchased a new one.  I'm now back to using the old one.  If you decide to purchase this timer, be sure to keep your receipt and packaging.

Do not waste your money on this timer.

Really cheap. it rings a minute before the end of the time you want. i don't trust it at all. i am returning it.
