You can get accurate readings of the internal temperature of your foods instantly with this AccuChef digital compact instant-read thermometer. It's important to get some meat to an internal temperature that is safe for eating. Health Canada suggests using a food thermometer and to check each piece separately if you have more than one piece. This is a great tool to measure food from the oven, stovetop, or grill. The thermometer is compact with a folding probe design that's convenient for transportation and storage. The thermometer has a big 1.5"x 0.75" (3.8 x 1.9 cm) size screen that gives clear internal temperature readings in Celsius or Fahrenheit. Since you should insert the thermometer through the thickest part of the meat, all the way to the middle and not to the bone to get the internal temperature, you could do that confidently with the 2.75"(7 cm) long stainless steel probe. The temperature range is -40°F to 392°F (-40°C to 200°C). There is a magnet on the back of the thermometer so you can securely attach it to any metal surface. To use your thermometer, unfold the probe completely into the open and locked position. Press the ON/OFF button on the back to turn on the thermometer and select your preferred unit of measure by pressing the °C /°F button. Insert probe. Turn off the thermometer by pressing the ON/OFF button, or use the auto shut-off feature will activate after 5 minutes. One LR44 battery is included with this thermometer. AccuChef provides a 2-year warranty on this thermometer.
