I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion. I recently had the opportunity to try the Accu Chef  Ultra fast digital thermometer and it didn't disappoint.  After using an analog meat thermometer for many years it was refreshing to be able to check the temperature have the results instantly. The large print on the screen was easy to read both with and without the back light on.  I would highly recommend this product.

I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion. The AccuChef Ultra Fast Digital Thermometer is quick and easy to use.   The screen quickly turns on and off just by unfolding and returning the probe.  The fold-away probe and overall size of the thermometer are great space-saving features and make the thermometer easy to store. Since the thermometer is also splash resistant, the probe is easier to clean and the thermometer can be wiped down without concern. The backlit display is easily turned on  with the push of a button and makes reading the thermometer much easier, especially in low lighting. It also helps that the display is  a good size. If you can't read the thermometer while the probe is in whatever you are preparing, there is a hold button so the temperature reading remains visible and does not change before you get a chance to read it. You can then turn off the hold by again pressing the button.  The thermometer also switches quickly between Celsius and Fahrenheit, again at the push of a button.
Overall, the thermometer was easy to use and appeared quite accurate in its readings. This has quickly become our go-to thermometer.

I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion. This accu chef ultra fast digital thermometer is a handy tool to ensure your food is cooked perfectly. It has good features such as it is turned on/ off simply by pulling out the probe. It has a magnet that sticks right to your fridge. Now that's useful… no need to dig in drawer to find it. It has both C° and F° as well as a backlight for easy viewing. Not to mention immediate reading. I also found the ultra fine point very easy to insert without compromising the juices from the meat. I highly recommend to anyone that wants to know an internal temperature of foods.

Very Useful thermometer

I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion. The accuchef ultra fast digital thermometer is easy to use and has great features.  The backlight option for the screen is handy and the probe can be used at multiple angles.  Also has a hold feature where you can hold the temperature to remove from the food to better see the temperature, also has a max and min temperature option to view the min/max temperature record.  The probe also folds into the thermometer so storage is easy.  Helps me ensure that foods are cooked to a safe temperature.

Great thermometer with useful features

I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion. The AccuChef instant read thermometer is a gem.  It is easy to use and, so far, seems to give immediate accurate readings.  It comes on and off automatically when you move the probe up and down and a screen light to help see the reading.  Pressing a button can freeze the reading in place for a bit so that you can remove and see it better.  Another nice feature is the magnet that lets you keep it close to the stove.  I like it!

What a Gem

I have always wanted a digital thermometer to test the temperature of my food and I'm so glad I had the opportunity to try this one by AccuChef. It's absolutely amazing and works very well. It gives me reassurance that my meat products have been cooked thoroughly so I don't have to worry about undercooked food (especially when it comes to meat). I would definitely recommend this product. It's easy to use and easy to clean.

Great thermometer.

I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion. It gives quick temperate reading and it's accurate as well. By moving the temperature probe out, it turns on the LCD display to show the temperature and folds it back in to turn off the display. There is a light button to turn on/off the background light for the display to see it properly in low light. Also, the Celsius to Fahrenheit selection button can be used to select the desired unit for the temperature. It is easy to clean and store and can be attached to any metal surface as it has a magnet to the back, so finding it is easy too if you stick it to the fridge/stove for easy access. There is a hold min/max button which can be used to check the max and min temperature readings and it shows the reading for some time, so it's easy to check later too. I'm so happy with it as it takes off the guesswork in cooking and ensures that the meat is done. I'd recommend it to others.

Instant temperate reading!

I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion. I loved how easy it was to figure out how to use it. Just extend the metal probe and it turns on, there is light to make it brighter which is good for my older eyes.  It's magnetic so you can stick to the fridge or bbq if you like.  Reasonably priced and easy to find in store. Used for meat but think it should also work as a candy thermometer

It is a simple product which offers some practical features which you can toggle very easily like:

- measurement in Celsius and Fahrenheit, and
- "hold" function.

It is a basic food thermometer which has some extra feature for simplicity of use. Plus, its design allows for easy storage.

Practical kitchen tool

I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion. I had difficulty getting the product to work.  Following the instructions to calibrate with ice water, the temperature did not reach 32 degrees F even after a prolonged period of time.

The readout took too long to appear on the screen and I was not sure if it read the temperature of the food properly or not.

The product was nice and light and seemed like it would be easy to store but the functionality did not suit my needs.

One feature that would have greatly enhanced the product would be if there was a way to determine the optimal temperature of the food so that you could check it easily without consulting a cook book or chart to see what temperature you would need to reach for thorough cooking.
