2nd one I've bought

I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion. I was able to try out the AccuChef wired meat thermometer which was great because I wanted to cook some chicken sous-vide but was unable to defrost it beforehand and was unsure how long it would take to properly cook. This product let me check the meat to ensure that it was properly cooked once the meat looked good. I was happy I could check in both F and C as sometimes recipes reference one or the other and since I was already in the process of cooking, I liked th heat resistant cable so I didn't have to worry about being too cautious while using it. It was easy to use and is a great addition to my kitchen!

I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion. Accuchef wired thermometer is good for telling you when your food has reached a certain temperature. It is easy to use, you just stick the metal probe into the food and it will instantly tell you the temperature of it. The digital display has nice big numbers and you can switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit. It also has an alarm that will notify you when it reaches the temperature you set it to beep at which is quite handy. It is a great little product that helps you with cooking various foods. I definitely recommend.

Accuchef wired thermometer does a good job

I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion. Just loved this thermometer very easy to use I tried it on baked chicken and the reader was very accurate indicating that the chicken was cooked to the desired temperature.  It was very easy to read and I love the digital readout.  I can't wait to try it on our next dish this would be great for getting our steaks right if it be medium or well done.

I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion. I am very happy with the AccuChef wired thermometer.  I like that I can insert the probe into the food, close the oven door and leave the thermometer on the counter.   It is very easy to operate and set the desired temperature.  I inserted the probe into my food and watched the current temperature of the food increase on the device.  The oven timer went off but the food had not reached the desired temperature so I left it in; within 3 minutes,  the AccuChef alarm went off and I was relieved to know that the food temperature had been reached!

I have been frustrated in the past when I thought meat or chicken was cooked, only to find out that it wasn't quite done.  I love that this thermometer will eliminate that in the future!

Wish I had bought this a long time ago!

I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion. I tried out this digital thermometer to cook my roast. The thermometer has a few settings on it. There is an alarm which works well as I unintentionally set it and didn't know til it went off. The cord for the skewer is small enough that it fit perfectly under the lid of my slow cooker and I could still clamp the lid down.
It read the temperature properly. It is very easy to use, you can measure in fahrenheit and celsius. 
It's compact enough to store in your utensil drawer.
I recommend this for any who are worried about cooking to proper temperatures.

Works great!

I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion. I have used my new AccuChef Wired Thermometer with Stainless Steel Probe, Model 2280 twice, in the oven, since purchase and it has worked as I hoped.  This model allows me to place the probe in the item to be cooked ( both times I have used it for meat ) and then be informed as to when the item is up to my desired temperature. I was concerned about having a wire coming out of my oven and the seal it may interfere with, but the wire is so thin this was not at all a problem. 

Operating the thermometer was pretty simple and intuitive. Set it for whatever temperature you item needs to be, put the probe in the item and leave the display on the countertop. I really like that it also showed what the current temperature of the item being cooked is, allowing me to have some idea as to when it would be finished to coordinate the rest of the food items. When the item is up to your requested temperature the alarm goes off.

I have not used it for timing any items as I simply use my oven timer. for that.

I look forward to using this for the bbq as well.

My only negative comments would be that the on/off button and alarm turn off button are on the back of the device and rather small. Also, when I purchased it I was unaware that a AAA battery was required so needed to purchase batteries before I could use it. Including 1 battery, or making it clear on the packaging that one is required and not included, would be beneficial.

worked as hoped

I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion. I was happy to be selected to review the AccuChef Wired Thermometer with Stainless Steel Probe.
 I like the nice, big display of the thermometer, making it quick and easy to see what temperature my meat was. The probe stays in the meat throughout the cooking process, eliminating the need to continually open the oven door and let all the heat out. 
I am always cautious about making sure my proteins are cooked to the right temperature to serve, meaning I can overcook for fear it isn't done. The Accuchef thermometer completely took away any concerns and I was confident I was serving my family a safe and healthy meal.
The thermometer was super easy to operate and understand. I am already planning on purchasing another thermometer to give to my parents for Christmas. 
Very pleased with this thermometer and highly recommend it.

Making meals simple and stress free!

I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion. Although the Accuchek meat thermometer looks simple to use, I found it difficult to change the cook temperature in the settings. Everytime I would try to program, it would give me an alarm noise. 

The preset programs are quite good. I liked how you can pick how done you would like your meat.   It was also nice to set a timer to check on everything. 

I would recommend this based on the preset programs but found the programmable not useful.

Small but mighty

I tried this product and received a full rebate in exchange for my honest opinion. I was offered a full rebate to try and test the Accuchef wire probe cooking thermometer. I have heard great things about this type of thermometers. Therefore, I was very eager to test one. Unfortunately,  it wasn't as easy to use as I thought. The probe barely stayed inside my roast. The alarm was barely audible. The lights went on and off during cooking. Fortunately, my roast still turned out. Consequently,  I would recommend buying a better model of wired thermometer.

Not an user friendly product

Wish I could upload the 10 second video I just shot of this garbage thermometer fluctuating a range of 30 degrees in temp. Total yo-yo. Unsafe. This is not the first one we've bought, as we thought the previous one was a bad fluke. Nope. Garbage. Don't waste your money.
