Exactly what I wanted for an attic window.  I used 31" blinds in a 32" opening.  They fit perfectly.  The wood grain appearance blends nicely with the surrounding colors.  The blind was easy to install.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed to replace a blind in my bedroom window that my daughters dog destroyed on a recent visit. She's a large dog and I wasn't surprised that it happened, I was caught off guard and I should have expected it. No harm was done, thankful she didn't hurt herself. All is well that ends well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Directions for installation not as clear as it should be. Illustrations for installation  not very clear. Said room darkening in advertisement but more like light filtering.  For the price acceptable quality.

For some reason, both sides of this blind are rounded making it difficult to get a firm snap into the brackets like others I've installed with a flattened rear surface. After many attempts and just as many scratches to the top rail, I was able to secure it. Initially thought I'd received a defective one and reordered only to see the same issue. I'll stick with the Mainstays mini blind moving forward as these are not constructed well.

Doesn't Snap In Like Mainstays

The windows I ordered these blinds for are double pain windows that generate lots of heat in the summer as they are in direct sunlight. The blinds melted and twisted in such a way I had to take them down and throw them away there was nothing I could do to save them.

Bring back the older miniblind holders!!!!  The directions say that it only takes 15 minutes to install them.....if you're superman.  If you're a woman in your 60's and you want to install them yourself, good luck!!  The new-fangled clips that come with these very nice blinds are a pain in the butt to get the blinds to clip into.  Unless you are strong and have lots of patience along with a whole vocabulary of four lettered words to exclaim when they won't snap in, don't bother.  I finally was able to manhandle the shade with the help of some tools and the job took me about 2 hours with time off to recover enough to get up on the ladder and try it again.  I want the older blinds back with the plastic box clips!!!!!  They were a breeze to install.

Not for senior women who aren't strong.
