Stylish %26 Easy

The thing about this curtain rod is that you get what you pay for. Keeping in mind that they are a great price, they feel pretty cheap in your hand. However, they look GREAT hanging on the wall, which I think is the most important thing. The rod is a thin (and lightweight) metal that is coated with a textured black paint and the end pieces are black (and slightly textured) plastic. But again, they don't look cheap when they're hanging up. I have mine hanging fully extended with curtain rings clipped to 2 large drop clothes. So I think that they are fairly sturdy. I'm not sure how the others who reviewed this received shattered ones. I'm really not sure what would shatter, maybe the plastic ends? But I bought mine at the store and they were in perfect condition. I would absolutely recommend these rods!

You get what you pay for!

These were easy to get on the wall and they present such a lovely backdrop to my reclaimed silk curtains!

Sheer loveliness

Easy install but should give instruction to remove final from one piece and put it on the other one

They look great however one rod had a broken piece. The window the broken rod is over is in a octagon room so it doesn't stick out.

Nice

Beautiful and love them but one of the two I ordered arrived with part of the finial snapped off. I was able to super glue it back together.

Beautiful but one arrived broken

"Metal" feels more like very cheap plastic. It looks nice overall. However, if you're interested in this item…purchase at the store! Ordered online and it comes in a box, fully extended. When it arrived at my home, the plastic that it was packaged in was shattered and parts of the rod had snapped off. Cheap. Now I'm faced with either waiting 2-3 weeks just for it to get shipped back and refunded/replaced or going to the store anyway. Should have done it in the first place.

I ordered 5 of these for my living and dining rooms. 4 out of 5 were broken upon receipt. They are not packaged well at all. Cheap plastic finial. Returned them asap.
