Made of soft, easy-care, micro-ridged vinyl that will cleanly Tear Down to the desired width. Its telescopic roller has a cardboard insert underneath the vinyl fabric that is perforated at every half inch. The Shades plastic handrail is also scored at half inch increments to snap down to the new width of the shade without any additional tools. I have used similar roller shades that you can purchase in the store. But the store was out of stock. I found these online and while they are not super high quality they work just fine. They were easy to install and while they are not blackout they do block out enough light/heat  for our living room.  Window on the left has shade completely closed and the window on the right has the roller shade half opened to show the difference.

Read and follow the instructions and measure carefully before cutting. I ended up taking off another inch, one half at a time, to get the perfect fit for my window. Very easy to trim and adjust once you figure out what you're doing. Works well and looks great.

Looks great!

Very satisfied with this shade. I don't usually roll the shade up and down very often, usually it's kept in one position so it should last for a while. It's good for the kitchen area, it allows light through nicely but still provides privacy. And as a bonus they included brackets, which saved me a trip. That should be standard fare with all shade brands but unfortunately is not.

Good

Item was bent in the middle. I did not notice till after I had put it up. with it being bent you cannot roll it up or down. The shade was perfect otherwise.

Purchased 5 of these. Great design, but 3 of the shades were on the roller/rod too far to the side with the round pin on the end.  So much so, I couldn't get the end off with a screwdriver.  I had to pull it off with pliers, and ended up cutting one too short.

Great design but needs better quality control

The shades were very nice and appearance and quality. I am a senior with a little bit of arthritis in my hands and I was not able to install them myself like I had hoped. I do believe there could be some improvement on the overall instructions.. It was a bit confusing to me and I consider myself very capable of following directions.

I wish the vinyl was a little thicker and better quality. I had to use scissors, it didn't tear to fit easily. Ive had one before (this brand) that didn't feel so cheap.

Serves the purpose

I bought one of the teardown shades before and it was fine, but these two are both defective. One, no matter what I do will not catch to stop when putting the shade up and down. The other one, the metal rod that is supposed to be pushed in after you tear down to the length you want, would not move. No matter how hard you pushed it in.
Would not recommend these shades.

Order came in bent not happy with my order 😡
