I loved the simplicity of how the whistle works.  It is made of quality materials that will not rust and easy to carry with me and use.

Acme Silent Dog Whistle: Train Your Pup with Preci

I am seriously amazed at how well this works. I bought it because my neighbor has 2 huge dogs that bark continuously.  In just a few days of blowing the whistle when I heard them barking the frequency has dropped dramatically.  I imagine a few weeks of this and they will stop altogether. I am delighted.

My dog definitely responds to this whistle but clearly dislikes it and runs away rather than comes to me when I blow it. It clearly requires training to be an effective tool.

I recently purchased the Acme Professional Silent Dog Whistle 535, and I have some concerns regarding its performance. First and foremost, the “silent” feature is misleading. Both dogs and humans can hear the high-pitched sound it produces, which defeats the purpose of a silent whistle.

While the whistle does have an adjustable feature that allows you to turn the cap to increase or decrease the pitch, I found that the sound is still quite loud and can be quite piercing for the operator. This is not the quiet training tool I expected.

Additionally, the design of the whistle presents some usability issues. The air outlet is positioned very close to the air inlet—approximately a quarter inch apart. This design makes it challenging to blow into the whistle without inadvertently covering both openings, which can hinder its effectiveness.

Lastly, the cap is attached to the whistle by a chain. While this might seem convenient, it becomes cumbersome during training sessions, especially when you need both hands for treats and hand signals. The weight of the cap and whistle makes it difficult to operate hands-free, as it tends to slip from your mouth.

In summary, while the Acme Professional Silent Dog Whistle 535 has some adjustable features, its performance and design may not meet the needs of all dog owners. If you are looking for a truly silent and user-friendly whistle, you may want to consider other options.

The product's strengths and weaknesses.

This didn't help at all with my dog. I had bought a cheap one for around 5.00 and it was useless so I thought maybe the expensive one would help. It added nothing to our training.

I'm trying to get a refund. It was refundable.

Don't do nothing and I can hear it you shouldn't hear a dog whistle
