This weather station appears to give accurate temperatures. I hung the outdoor unite in a shade tree that should also be mostly in the shade when the leaves are off. The display is large enough to read from across the room. I also like that it also displays the moon phases, pressure and date/time. I would like it if it also had humidity.

To my amazement, the item PROGRAMMED ITSELF in the Whittier area. My previous Weather Station took an Hour to program. I even sent one to a friend, I was so Impressed with ours. It sits on the Family Room Coffee Table, informing us of the Date, Time, plus Outside and Inside Temperatures. Love it!!!

Great Weather Station

I like this weather station.  It gives me exactly the information that I want; temperature inside and out, lunar phase, and barometric pressure. Color display is not needed; I can put this device anywhere as it's battery operated and not limited by a power plug.  Did not give it a five as it is still in the calibration phase.

Good product. On my third one because the outside temperature unit quit reading temperatures both times. Hopefully third time is a charm. The new unit is smaller with Nara other and moon phase - all of which I don't like as much as my two prior units.

My third AcuRite

The temperature between the two units, inside and out, had a 4 degree F separation, I did not know which was correct. I gave them a few days together in different claimants to figure it out, however could not accept the continued amount of tolerance.

I returned it for the more expensive AcuRite Digital Weather Station, also carried at Walmart, Model: 02038W. With a short test, I am much happier. The daily high/low temperature and humidity is fantastic. Even though the outdoor sensor responds significantly faster, in both models as a result of less material perhaps, I am happy to have spent the additional money.

NOTE: If you need these to detect a quick change in temperature, say to monitor a coolers performance before shutoff, the outdoor unit because of its size, responds more quickly.

Temperature should not be a guess.

After 2 weeks no pressure readings, weather forecast, just a clock and temps. Going into 3 weeks I called AcuRite and they say "give it 30 days more." I think this is a POOR product to say the least and I would not recommend anything by AcuRite.

Have to argue with the company

It is a shame that the accuracy of this product was +/- 4 degrees. I would expect more from a digital product. I have read that several others have had the same experience. Reports from the company agree that these complaints are within tolerance. Acurite means kind of right!. Returned product.
