Bought this for a childrens step stool since kids stools are usually so small. This is perfect, 8 inch height and generous foot area. Side structures make accidentally mis-stepping or falling off less likely.

I needed a small step stool that doesn't take up much room. This definitely meets the bill. And the price is great!
It says the weight capacity is 300 lbs. I would seriously doubt that. My husband and I both weigh right around 200 lbs, and it feels a little flimsy even for our weight.

A little lightweight, but works for what I need

I bought 2 of these (one white and one beige) for different uses. I like it because it's not one with the hole in the middle, because I use it for the dogs to get in and out of our RV. It can be folded up and tucked in a corner when traveling, then used in campsites that are not level for that extra step up. Great quality all plastic. I use the beige as a footstool in our RV. Highly recommended!

Super Step Stool

This will be returned - scuffed and dirty straight out of the box. If the product doesn't even look clean right out of the box, it's certainly not going to look clean after daily use in a kid's bathroom [what I bought it for]. The grips on the step tread look impossible to clean [all plastic, weird diamond pattern with a million tiny raised dots within each diamond... lots of dirt trappers!]. The scuffs straight out of the box won't come off. Some positives though: I think other reviewers are wrong about it's strength. I think it's quite sturdy. And I'm no folding-stool expert but I also disagree about the ease of folding. Unless you just expect it to fold itself upon voice command, it's pretty easy to fold. If I were using this in a garage or for getting in and out of an RV, I would absolutely keep it because it would look dirty in no time anyway but seems very durable. I would just get the same exact one in black and be done with it [wow, though, it's twice the price!]. Unfortunately, I'm looking for a white stool that I can keep clean. This one will not work for us. Also, though this one doesn't name a manufacturer online like the black one, the white one is also made by Adams Manufacturing. For a cleaner option in white, I'm probably going with the Graco Deluxe. The grips on the tread are the standard rubber ones [saw this one in the store] and seem easy to clean.

White looked really dirty, right out of the box.

I wanted something that folded up slim to store in my kitchen cabinet for when I needed to reach those high shelves that were only inches away. I've been using a regular step stool, but it is stored in another room. This is much easier and works just like I wanted it to.

Doesn't want to stay locked in the open position. Very poor quality. Will be ok if you never want to fold it, but then why buy a folding stool.
