I like that it looks different than your regular (boring) lamp, and yet it is not too expensive. Some things to keep in mind:
1) Changing the bulb isn't the easiest thing in the world, but it's not impossible either. Just a little awkward.
2) The touch sensor is very sensitive. When my dog sniffs the base, the lamp turns off!
3) You need a 100W bulb or you won't get much light (unless you want very dim light). So in that respect, it's not very energy-efficient at all...and you can't use CFL bulbs.
4) The nickel finish is quite shiny. I like that, but what I don't like is that you can definitely see where each part connects to (screws into) the other. I wish it was one whole piece rather than THREE pieces connected to each other. That makes it look kinda cheap.

Overall, it looks "stylish" for not much money at all. But it's not the fanciest lamp in the world either!

Good for the price

The finish and quality of the product was very good. The base looks small but it has plenty of weight to keep it sturdy. The touch sensor works perfectly. Keep in mind this lamp only takes incandescent bulbs. 3-way brightness all from a regular light bulb.

My only complaint is that when the light is on "low" you can hear an annoying high frequency. When it is on "medium" the sound is reduced. At full power there is no hum. The sound is comparable to something like a florescent light, but it is pretty noticeable to me.

Very nice

I've been lamp shopping for a while...looking for a lamp that was contemporary and over 5 ft tall. This lamp matched the bill- plus it was at a great price. The lamp arrived within a week and took less than 5 minutes to assemble. The hardest part was screwing in the lightbulb as the base is tall and the bulb sits half way into the lamp shade. I was pleased with the end result. Even my difficult, hard-to-please 12 yr old son commented on how great the lamp looks in my bedroom.
Note: this lamp is great for low lighting areas. Although it has three settings by tapping the base (no on/off knob, and no 3 way bulb needed- just a 100 watt bulb) I wouldn't recommend for heavy duty reading or for areas where lots of light is needed.

Love this Lamp...very cute

I LOVE this lamp. I love it cause it is tall 74". I have it behind my media center and it is perfect! It is a touch on and off and it has three different settings so you can have it low or high. Super easy to put together.

I absolutely love this lamp! It is exactly what I was wanting as I am very picky.
I wanted somthing other then the normal looking floor lamp and had multiple brightness. The "touch" feature was a added bonus that of course the kids love. I like the fact that you use just a 100watt bulb instead of a 3-way.
I would buy this again in a heartbeat!

Love it!!

I ordered this lamp through Walmart and when it arrived, the ring inside of the shade was bent, so it would screw onto the lamp crooked. Called Adesso and after a 5-minute phone call they shipped a new shade out to me. Didn't even have to mail back the broken one. Also the lamp is beautiful!

Great customer service from Adesso

Nice lamp, but despite coming very well packaged, the shade arrived damaged (probably at the factory, since there were no signs of packaging damage).  I exchanged it for another one, which was fine.  Except for this annoyance, the lamp is quite nice!
I actually bought this to use with a wall switch, but it doesn't work with it. I ended up needing to leave wall switch on all the time, and use touch sensor on lamp to turn on & off.

I LUV LUV THIS FLOOR LAMP,THE LIGHTING IS JUST RIGHT FOR MY LIVIVNG ROOM AND IT LOOKS GOOD TOO,EASY TO PUT TOGETHER.

We bought the floor lamp and desk lamp for our family room. Borh look fantastic. Very modern vibe. The touch 3 way control is super cool and convenient, giving the room different ambience like magic. Kids love it too!
