The slot for mail has a magnet on it to stay closed. Also has keys or code to get in it. The perfect size not to big but not to small. I can fit lots of mail or letters . It's got a drop box, with key plus combination. All the postal workers have to do is put the mail in the drop box and walk away. You come and put in the combination and unlock it. Basically a great way for my mail to be safe and knowing no one will steal it. It's very easy to mount, comes with the drill bit, screws and plastic white that the screw go into. I love this mail box, not that big. Exactly what me and my wife have been wanting. Gives us a peace of mind!!
