I use it without the arms. Both are easily removed and can be put back at any time. It is is one of those button slide things like on the legs.  Legs are farther apart than I expected so they are not completely flat on the tub floor.  But still works. I probably should have measured my tub.  Seems slightly unstable the higher you go, but that could be just me being worried.  But it is holding me up and I am approx. 208lbs.  It came in the mail in it's own box, Not inside another box, so if it bothers you that people will see what you bought-they will.

This style of bath bench is so much better than the smaller round ones without arms. I feel much more safe now whenever I shower.

Feeling Safe!

Received today, box was damaged multiple places, some places I could stick part of my hand inside box! Since it is a personal care item, I will not be opening it. It's a shame I really needed it. I will be returning it. Should have been shipped in additional box, the manufacturer box is not sturdy enough.

This shower seat is very sturdy. It was very easy to put together, tricky, however, no tools are required.

Good Option

Sturdy bench with adjustable height.  It was what I expected.

Loved it is strong easy to assemble and fits perfect for all spaces

Product arrived two days early, was easy to put together, and once constructed let me to once again walk around. Also, light enough to fold up and place into the trunk of my car so I can use it when I go somewhere.  Seat is handy when I get tire and need to sit down for a few minutes. I bought the 26" width but I still need to be careful going through a few of the doors in my home because the doors don't completely open to provide the full width of the door opening to pass through.  It does fit through but I need to be careful to not hit side of base of door openings on a few doors. Most of my doors are 2 to 3 inches wider than base of walker though.

A great help to me for getting around.
