I am not sure who was whipping these for the other people, my girls did not get welts or cry that it hurt at all. They laughed and ran around for an hour before I made them come in and dry off. They each had a bowl of water for easy filling and left them in there in between throwing, perhaps they would leak if you were trying to carry them all around at once, but if they didn't let the water out easily, you wouldn't get wet when hit with them.

My girls loved it

This is a really interesting product. We unpackaged them and thought that they did feel soft like a water balloon. It's too cold outside to really use them in the yard, so we headed straight for the bath tub. They were easy to fill and only took a second to figure out how the flap worked. When we threw them at the bathtub wall they didn't seem to do much other than bounce off, but no water came out. When my nine year old son walked out into the hallway I followed behind him and threw a full water ball at him. It popped beautifully on his back. He turned around, giant eyed and in shock, then broke out laughing hysterically. He immediately ran into the bathroom and the in house water fight was on. After some soaked shirts and wet carpet, we sopped up the water and talked about how great these are going to be when it warms up. We love the fast fill, the easy "pop" of water, and beaning each other with a water bag. I didn't think they were going to be all that good, but they are genuinely fun!!

Awesome summer fun product!

Absolutely love the concept behind these thing and here's why. You get 100s of uses out of them and no cleanup. I hate when the kids play with water balloons and I'm picking up colourful broken balloon latex off my lawn for weeks! This saves so much hassle for me later on.

Overall, I would rate this product a 4/5. It's very similar to water balloons and pop in a similar way too. They're really easy to fill up and can be used over and over again, unlike water balloons. I like that this is also an environmentally friendly option. They're really easy to hold, specially for little kids. It would be better if these were offered in a bigger pack since this pack only comes with 7. The kids loved the bright colours.
My only negative thing to say would be they do tend to leak a little bit if held in certain positions.

Great eco friendly replacement

I love the idea of reusable water balloons! It is friendly to the environment with less mess too.  I enjoyed how effortlessly easy it was to refill the water balloons. When we threw them at each other the impact at contact of the balloon is a bit stronger comparable to the typical latex water balloons.

Filled the ball and gently tossed it in the bath tub to test it out and that alone put a huge hole in the ball. Would not purchase again. Not durable at all

Not Durable. Waste of Money

this product is not very good. when you fill up the product with water they start to leak the water very quickly. then when you throw the product to try and get someone wet the product does not explode very well and the water stays inside. the product is also quite heavy so if you were to throw it at someone it could hurt especially a smaller child. a real water balloon works much better. the idea is good in theory because it is easy to fill the product with water but it just does not work.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.  These do not do exactly what they say they do.  They do fill with water and as long as you sit them in the right spot they are ok.  If they are not sitting exactly right they leak before you throw them.  Fustrating for a 7 year old and a parent.
