As you can see, it's as long as my single drawer dresser (which is pretty big) and he has been playing with it for weeks now. I will be buying a second one for my other son so they can play together.

He loves to pretend like he's an Army soldier and this gun is a bright neon green color with camo and neon orange accents. It comes with a detachable scope and silencer. When you press the trigger on the gun it makes a continuous shooting sound and lights up. When you attach the silencer, the gun makes a single shot noise. There is also a lever at the back that makes a sound like you are loading bullets.

My son LOVES it!

Once he pulled the trigger, the different lights amazed him and he didn't stop. The parts are removable like the real thing. Several times I catch him hiding behind the couch and bed like he's in a war zone. The color is very bright and playful which I like. It is made of hard plastic which would last him a long time as long as he doesn't lose any piece. I would recommend this one to kids who like role playing.

Tons of fun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this action force role play gun set for my son. He absolutely loves to act out playing action scenes. He has a big imagination. This toy gun is just perfect for him and it has some really awesome features to make it even better. First thing, it is loud! And it sounds like a real gun. It come with a silencer that changes the sound when you put it on. When you take it off it goes back to the normal sound. When you pull the trigger it obviously makes the gun shot noises but it also spins on the inside and lights up to the sound. It has a sight you can put on and take off. It has a tab you can pull that makes the sound as if you are loading the gun. You can even take off and put on the stock of the gun. I am really impressed by all this gun can do and my son loves it. It does take 3 AA batteries. I would definitely recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I originally got this for my 6 1/2 year old son to try out but his 2 year old sister has taken an instant liking to it because it's an easy to press trigger for her. It lights up & makes cool sounds. You can add a silencer type thing that changes the sound of the gun from an automatic to a single shot sound. It has a scope on the top that my son finds fascinating. You can pull back one of the pieces to make it sound as if you're cocking the gun. My son really loves that it vibrates & lights up when he pulls the trigger. The gun is a nice variation of green with hints of orange. This is made of plastic that could easily break if an adult stepped on it. The gun is a pretty good size. I would say it's about the size of a child's B.B. gun. This has been going non stop since we opened the package & not just from my son.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Adventure Force Action Roleplay Defender is pretty awesome. It is much larger than I expected, and shaped like a real semi-automatic rifle. I like the bright colors because it makes me less nervous that people will confuse it with a real gun. It came with batteries already, which was super awesome. Operation is simple. Just pull the trigger and you get sun-like sounds, along with some cool flashy lights on the barrel and tip. Attach the silencer for a slightly different noise. Pull the lever on the back to get a reloading sound. The back magazine can be removed and reattached to make it seem more realistic, though I'd rather just keep it on so fingers don't get pinched. It also comes with an attachable scope, though it's not actually functional and my son asked to leave it off. Overall, I really like the style and make of this toy rifle. The sounds aren't too loud or annoying, and the light effects are cool. It's pretty simple and not that heavy duty, but sometimes it's nice to have pretend gun play and not be hit with foam bullets! The recommended ages is 5 and up.

Fun prop or action toy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have mixed feelings about the Adventure Force Light and Sound Special Force Action Roleplay set. It is a really fun toy. It's 26" long and 9" high so it's pretty big, especially for a child. It's made out of thick, heavy duty plastic. The lights flash and there are machine gun sounds when you pull the trigger. There are different sounds if you pull the slider on top and you can also put on an attachment that makes different sounds. There is a sight that attaches to the top and can be put on and off. The stock comes apart from the barrel making it a lot shorter in length. All of this makes it a really fun toy meant for age 5 and up. My concerns are that there is a warning that it may be mistaken for a real weapon. It also may be a crime to alter it to make it look more real. This would have been the greatest toy ever 20 or more years ago. In the world we live in today I wouldn't allow my child to play with it outside of the house which limits their fun. An adult is required to put in the 3 AAA batteries. I guess I would recommend it for children older than 5 if they were only going to play with it in an enclosed area inside.

Makes Noise and Lights Up

Roughly a live sized AR/416 model toy. The battery hatch's screw hole got stripped when trying to change the batteries. 

Somehow the “silenced” version of shot sound is actually louder with a pitch and could potentially harm the user's ears, regardless being kids or grown up. 

My biggest issue is the alternative packaging including a knife rather than a scope, the knife is hard plastic with a not so dull point, which could seriously hurt a kid or grown up, the factory should stick to the scope version packaging
