It has been a week now and of course the Genovese Basil have already sprouted.  Still waiting on the rest but all has gone well so far.

It grows amazingly fast, so much that we end up throwing some herbs away when it needs pruning. We always grow herbs in the garden but in Minnesota  it’s great having this year round. The best thing is no bugs or dirt to rinse off, as well as the convenience of having it right there in the kitchen. 

Two things I wish I’d done differently - I was so eager to start I put them all in right away. I wish I’d started the parsley sooner since that takes much longer to germinate. The others had already grown so big that it’s still struggling for light. I also wish I’d ordered a couple different herbs that we use more often than what came with the kit.

Wish I’d gotten this years ago!

All 3 herbs sprouted, but the dill kept dying off. The sprout would get about 1 inch long, then brown up and die out. In contrast, I can't trim my curry and basil fast enough. Big producers!

When we first started all the plants germinated and we had continued herbs throughout the winter months. However, this go, we have had significant issues, most pods don't germinate. I also would like to be able to order the specific pods we want rather than a kit that includes things that are not what we would really want.

Germination problems

The Herb Seed Pod Kit. I planted dill and parsley on March 5th and neither of them have sprouted. I also from another set I bought a salad greens and planted one of them on the same day and that one is growing very nicely.

Seeds are not growing.

I purchased an AeroGarden Seed Pod Kit (mixed herbs). So far, only 1 pod has grown. I’m not new to this so I have followed the instructions (have had success in the past). Disappointing.

Pods DOA

I started with the 2 basil pods supposedly the most hearty  I have been growing these hydroponics since 2019 and these new pods the past year are TERRIBLE!  these 2 are now day 12 and NOTHING NOT even a speck of sprout!  I have my conditions honed to a T and used to produce mounds of herbs within 4 weeks as well as salad greens  These latest pods since restarting the company are overpriced and pathetic!!!!  I will be asking for a full refund!

They don't grow!  don't waste your money!

This is my second pruchase of seed pods since Aerogarden reopened under Scotts. I am very disappointed. The pods are not producing plants. Never had this ptoblem before. Have sent in feedback but got no response from Scotts as of today. I love my Aerogarden and don't know what to do!

Pod seeds

I'm an experienced Aerogarden grower (I've done this six times before) yet unfortunately two pods are not growing in my Sprout. I maintain healthy cleaning routines, use good quality water, and monitor the tank water. It has been three weeks since I planted them. One sprouted a tiny bit (very small start) and then began withering away to brown leaves. The other has not grown. I'm disappointed with this batch of seeds, as I was looking forward to growing more herbs in my home this winter.

5 of the six herb seed pods did not grow. They gave me a partial refund and I reordered the pods. The five I used did not grow and both times white mold appeared inside. I have been growing herbs and flowers with AeroGarden products for 6 years. Never had these issues before.
