Process is quick and requires minimal effort.

Can be tailored to individual shapes, but may run large or small.

Pump is working.  Planted Italian herb packet, Jan 4.  All sprouting and happy.

Garden had not been used for a couple of years.  Had to pull pc board and cleab with tooth brush.  After several tries got voltage to pump.  

Had to run diagnostics about eight times.  Each time things got a little better.  Now running like new.

Tiny plants are happy.

Using 7 hole garden after being idle for years.

The pump was very easy to install. The only downside was the filter for the pump was not included. So far the Aerogarden has performed really well. We've had great success with the Salad green packages. Also the cherry tomatoes have done outstanding.

Ease of replacement.

This did exactly what we hoped. We were able to trade in one bum pump for a good one, and are now growing again!

Fit, working as required.  Would have been nicer to have directions on how to remove the old one and install this one, but I figured it out pretty easily.

We took a chance that the problem was the pump and ordered the replacement. Easy to install and fixed the issue.

The replacement model pump was inexpensive to buy but pricey to ship which brought the price up overall to almost triple the value. I wish there was a more convenient option with faster shipping. That being said, the service was prompt, the shipping duration so so but my areogarden works great now. Overall pleased.

One of the pumps only lasted a few weeks and quite, it's hard to find pumps that will fit the Aero Gardens, have had problems with them before, if hadn't  gotten a nice discount or could have found them some where else would not have ordered again.

Bad pump

A fairly easy process to replace the pump. However, the wire is difficult to the thread through the guide channel. It may be a bit short and one of the turns is a sharp bend. It worked though.

Pump replacement

The pump works great, but it should have included instructions - the website indicates that they are included but they are not. Additionally, there is a little screw that is needed to attach the pump, it would be nice if one were included with the pump.  I accidentally threw the old one away with the older broken pump.

I have purchased probably 6 of these pumps in the past 2 years... each time they get clogged up with nutrient residue, overheat and then make the water prone to root rot (as it increases the temperature). They are wildly insufficient for the size of the tank, don't really give much in terms of oxygen. Basically a poorly designed product that you have to buy over and over.
