Plants

The garden provided me with a large individual salad every other night for three or four months. As a single person, I appreciated not having to buy a head of lettuce which would often go bad before I was able to finish it. Now the plants are growing spindly and aren't producing as much as before.

I think the lettuce is wonderful, even though I got black seeded Simpson, which I didn't choose.  I thought I could select the lettuces Wanted.  I think there were some herbs.  The only one that geminated was chives, and they are barely holding on.  No basil, parsley, or dill...just didn't germinate

mixed review

The lettuce grew fast and pretty. I use it often for my sandwiches and salads. The tomatoes in this group are not growing as fast as one I purchased at a later date. But, it is growing.

Worth it...

I generally have a 100% sprout, but if the seeds were included in packets where i could load them at time of planting, I think they would stay fresher and sprout better.
