I haven't had this device long but so far it has helped a lot just to know what I need to add to my pool without having to run water sample to pool store.

walmart.com

The sale price made me purchase this (not sure I would have purchased at the retail price) It's a newer product so not many reviews. I did learn the sensors will be expensive to replace (yearly) but I cannot find how much they will be. This is very high tech yet simple to use. After calibration (ph powder, cup and instructions) just do the initial battery charge and throw it in the pool. It will monitor the water every hour and all I have to do is look in the app to see how the water is. App is simple to use and will notify you if something is not at the ideal level and give recommendations to fix it. I don't know how it will be long term but not having to test my water every week is very convenient!!

So far it's GREAT

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So helpful. We have really enjoyed using this in our pool has been a huge help for us since we try to maintain our pool ourselves. Charge isn't the best but kids love seeing this in the pool. Info is reliable and it is definitely durable.

Great!

influenster.com

I bought and put this in service just this past Sunday. I absolutely am happy I did. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the lack of app features. They could do better, I think.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have used this in our pool for a whole season now, we love being able to check on the water quality anytime. It does require recalibration once in a while, but as long as you follow the instructions, it's fine. We bought one for my dad for Father's Day because he liked ours so much!

Neat gadget, but not perfect

AIPER

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Aiper Hydorcomm is a nice addition to the pool tool family. The setup was pretty straightforward but also there were a few steps in the directions that were not clear or missing. The information that you can get from the device is helpful though it doesn't seem to be completely accurate in all area's. It did pinpoint my pool needed salt. I don't know if this particular tool is necessary. Useful device but not necessary especially if you have a pool cleaning service. Maybe something to have as a beginner pool owner.

Useful but not Necessary

It works well when it says on. You have to stay on wifi.

Pay attention to the reviews that the company didn't pay for!

Worked fine for three days. Then pH probe drifted higher for a day, and then pegged high. Company wanted me to recalibrate. Then it offered to replace the probe.

Look at the other reviews from actual customers. Do you think a new probe would last more than a week?

I boxed it up and returned it. Thank you, Walmart.

Worked good for 3 weeks then would not power up anymore. Battery fully charged...

Aiper HydroComm Smart Pool Monitor with Digital Water Testing, App Control and Solar-Powered front-facing compact solar-topped monitor with probe head; continuously measures pH, ORP, EC, TDS and temperature, connects via WiFi or Bluetooth to the Aiper app for live readings and trend tracking; often used for backyard ponds or decorative fountains.
