I purchased this for my husband.  He has a hard time keeping up with cleaning our above ground pool. This works like a dream. He loves being able to put this in the pool and set a timer to go and check on it, and then when it's done take it out and clean out what this great vacuum picked up and put it back into the box for next time. He said he would highly recommend getting this. You won't regret it.

We LOVE IT. 
Our swimming pool floor has never looked cleaner. 
And it always stops at the side so it is easy to retrieve.  
We want to get another to keep in storage for if this one ever goes out.  
It comes with its own charging plug. 
We put it into the pool before we go in and we leave it in there zooming around cleaning even while we are swimming. 
Wish we got one three years ago. 
It's a Must!! Especially if you have sand or small gravel before getting in.

Pool vacuum

surprisingly works great in our inground pool with a deep end and a sloped floor (even though it's only recommended for above ground pools we took the risk… ) hasn't flipped over yet does what we need her to do circulate the water when we sprinkle chemicals, etc. picks up leaves and is a speedy little thing we love her :-)

After sending my first pool back back, I was given suggestion about this Aiper Scuba 800. I have an above ground pool that has some wrinkles in the bottom of it not major but they're there. The scuba with bigger wheels goes right over them and does a fantastic job. Also super easy to clean two clips undone spray when you're done.

Bigger wheels   smoother ride

I love it. Easy to clean and does a good job. It lasts me about 90 mins on a full charge and I fish him out with the pool net or the hook provided. It has thin suction slots on the bottom with a thin bristle attached. I didnt think it woukd work but its great.

pro tip if little branches, or in my case pecans fall in your pool, get them out before adding this machine because they will get caught in his suction slot and hold the door open. It will continue to run but cant suck anything up.
Easy to use.
press button to turn on and place in pool, it dives under. 
when closing back up pess down on both sides first to snap then front and back snaps. I charge just the top portion alone most the time. 22x52 pool. And if you don't have a skimmer basket hanging in your pool get one! I plugged 1 side off and with this machine and basket life is good!  4 stars instead of 5 because of the cheap slits and brushes on bottom

I really like this item and it seems to work well.  I've used it about 5 times now and it really picks up dirt and such on the bottom of my pool.  However, I don't think it runs as long as it did the first couple times. like the charge doesn't last as long.  I only have an 18 ft round pool so it does seem to finish the job before it dies.

This thing has its flaws. It moves so fast that it kicks up a lot of debris. However, it does work some. I run it in my small 16 by 10 pool until the battery dies and it does get a good bit of junk out. I usually will net while it's going to catch some of the junk that gets kicked up. So if you're looking for a hands free no work option, this is not it. But if you're just looking for something to help out and have a little less work for you, then this will do.

It's just okay

This works well, however starting with its first use debris comes out when removing it from pool. After some online research I found out the trap door was not working properly. I emailed aiper and they responded within 24 hours saying there is a 90 day warranty and asked for a copy of my receipt. I sent snapshots of my online receipt  (today) waiting to hear back. For now giving it 3 stars until I see if Aiper sends replacement part.

This pool vacuum is poorly designed. The handle to retrieve the vacuum from the pool is in the wrong position and dumps a lot of trash back in pool. The pool vacuum does a great job until that point

I've owned 3 pool vacs in 6 years. none over $150 none last more than 2 yrs.  this is my 2nd of this brand with a different brand in between. this one is slightly improved from my 1st aiper but the other brand (which is cheaper by $50) does a better job cleaning. this aiper just zoomes around entirely too fast resulting in it kicking up all sunken debris instead of picking it up and it absolutely does not pick up dead algae from the bottom ever. the other brand moves slower and picks up much more including dead algae making it superior in my opinion. I will be returning this model and buying a repeat of my last pool vac in its place.

After using just a handful of times, it just sat by the side and didn't move. I charged, it would go one way and just sit there. I bumped it and it would move to the other side and just sit again. Thankfully it was less than 90 days and I could return. My friend who originally recommended to me told me hers quit working as well.
