Elegant, sturdy lap table. I use it for video calls and will try it out in future for reading in bed. The tilt top is great for elevating my laptop to an ergonomic eye level. It's great that it came fully assembled and well packed.

My favorite chair has wrap around (barrel chair) arms. This lap table sits with the 2 front feet on my ottoman and the 2 back feet on my chair so it rests close enough for computer work. There is enough clearance so that my legs are not constricted and I can shift them comfortably. My 17" laptop sits securely on the top (I prefer it flat and centered.) It is easy to set up and take down and the price was great!

Love this lap table for my computer!

I purchased this for my husband. We moved into an RV and don't have a desk for his laptop. He'd been using an old small ironing board. This desk works great cause he can move it easily around the RV and the angles the computer and his hand are at on the mouse make it very comfortable to use.

Very Useful Product

The lap desk/bed tray is a truly quality product, made of solid wood and finished in a deep walnut stain. The top can be raised to just the right height to make typing on my laptop computer comfortable for me. I don't usually write reviews, but with this one, I felt I had to brag. I am disabled, and the lap desk is really a God-send for me, from eating a meal to doing paperwork or working at writing online, it is great.

Makes using my laptop so much easier.

Beautiful lap desk made from Walnut. It is well-built and durable and attractive to the eye. It doesn't look cheap. It has a neat side drawer for pens or paper clips, etc. The legs fold under for easy portability with a tilting desktop as needed. Fits my MacBook Air perfectly and is just like sitting at a nice full desk albeit on a much smaller scale and in the comfort of an easy chair. I recommend this product.

Nice Lap Desk

The only problem I found with the Aldern Lap Desk/Bed Tray with Drawer was the "holder" at the bottom of the tray is too low. It does not keep my laptop from slipping onto the bed when it is in an "UP" tilt position that is comfortable to work with. The photo shows my laptop in a much lower position. I will add a higher "holder" (perhaps 1" higher on my own as an improvement.

The Aldern Lap Desk/Bed Tray with Drawer is fair

My husband was ill and I wanted something that I could sit in his chair so he could eat rather than a tray on his lap. It works well that way. An added benefit is an adjustable book/computer holder with a lip to hold it from slipping off. You could put your Ipad or phone on it for hands free use. There is a drawer which is a nuisance to me. When you move the tray the drawer keeps falling out. Am going to figure something to keep it held in. Would be good to hold pen and paper if you could keep it from falling out every time you move it. Other than that it is good looking and I would recommend it.

great little lap tray

I was really looking forward to getting this for my mom for Christmas. Before I gave it to her I opened the package to see if it needed to be put together before I gave it to her. I took it out and a piece fell off and another piece isn't even aligned correctly. Really disappointed.

Horrible Condition

It was totally broken when I received it. All screw were came out and desk was all separated.
I try to fix it but the screw was too short to use it.
It was just junk and I return it. I just pay for shipping charge $5.00 and gas, effort and time to return it.

It looked good. The legs won't stay tight., a screw shows from the underside, almost all the way through the top. When I lift it to take it off my lap, the legs on one end dangle, then when I go to set it down, the legs collapse. The price was reasonable, but very disappointed overall. Too much trouble to return.
