[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always used another brand, clear and drys quickly. 
This product comes out white like elmers glue, drys clear, not as fast as I am used too but much faster than regular glue. A small adjustment in drying time. The drying time gives me the ability to adjust my project and dry my glove. 
  The bottom line is it works the same, I have already ordered 4 more bottles, and my cords are not discolored, it drys clean and clear. I really like this product.

Works!

Just what I was looking for.  I don't know how to sew hems.  I am a single male who needed to cut off the cuffs of a pair of quick drying pants that zip off at the knees, as the length was about 1 inch too long.  After cutting them, I noticed that they frayed and needed something.  After searching the net, I found this product and gave it a try.  I am a kayak guide in the summer and am in the water a lot.  This product worked perfectly.  I have used these pants now for two seasons and they are still good.  It did discolor the area slightly where I applied it, but it works.

good stuff

For embroidery it is well known to be the best product to stop material from fraying. It's just hard to find but I found it here. It works great.

Been using this for years. As long as you catch the fray right away you're good.

Does what it claims

I usually buy a different brand but the store was out. This seems to work as well. I gave 4 stars only because I have not washed the garment yet to see if it holds up as well after laundering.

Good quality

Was mailed and arrived earlier than originally predicted. Put it on my rug and so far so good. It is nice because it dries clear eventually but is white when you put it on. Don't need as much as I put on my rug but I wanted to make sure I sealed it well.

Did the job for a reasonable price

This is almost like Elmer's. It goes on like glue, takes a couple days to set. It's heavier than fray chek which I was trying not to use. It dries like a hard super glue. Probably would be great for other projects where the seam isn't on the outside.

Not what I expected

I am trying this for the first time and find it leaves an obvious mark, unlike Fray-chek that is totally clear and dries clear.
