Ease Of Application

Fabric Bonding

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion.

This glue worked amazing when used to fix my daughter's first/last day of school board.
Over the years the little wooden animals have fallen off and I haven't found something to get them to stay in place for more than a couple days at a time.

This worked so well. I accidentally placed the bee in the wrong spot and had to adjust it. Moved it to the correct spot without a problem and once it was there it stayed in place. The bottle makes for an easy and precise application.

Will definitely keep this handy for other quick craft fixes!

Great for quick craft fixes!

I used this Aleene's Tack It Over & Over glue to repair a broken hair clip by reattaching a fallen glittery butterfly charm, and it worked like a charm! The precision tip made application completely mess-free, and it held the piece securely in place while drying clean without any ugly residue. It is super easy to use, incredibly handy for delicate accessories and crafts, and definitely a must have in every household toolkit.

A lifesaver for quick fixes!

I've found the solution to applying posters to walls without damaging either! My grade school teachers would have probably appreciated this instead of sticky tack..

First, I should mention the nozzle design has cost this product a star. While the cap snaps on well, you're meant to cut the nozzle inside of it to size before using it for the first time. I'd much prefer a seal existing between the nozzle and bottle.

Otherwise, I have no complaints. The smell isn't worse than that of other liquid glues. Texture-wise, it's more viscous than school glue, but settles well when drying. Glue dots are easy to make, and instructions for them are printed on the label. The most complicated part of the process is waiting a day for the dots to dry, but once they do they perform rather well. Unfortunately they don't seem to be reusable.

For now, my posters have been up for a few days without budging. I don't believe they'll come down before I remove them with intent, but I'll add in an edit if they do. All in all, I'm fairly impressed.

Perfect glue dots

I used Aleene's Tack it Over&Over adhesive to adhere this cute white flower accent to my daughter's jean jacket and I absolutely love how it turned out! The application was so easy, and it didn't take long to dry at all. Im looking forward to doing more crafting and styling with this product. Thank you so much influenster for sending me this awesome product!

Crafting made easy!

Works as it's described. Easy to tack for temporary hold and reposition. Drys quickly and then removes with ease. Washes off without issue. Great for all fabric projects.

Temporary tack

This glue is seriously so strong, I was shocked. It's super easy to use, dries really fast , and doesn't make a mess. I used it on a broken plastic lambshade and even a ceramic piece and it worked amazingly! You can easily remove it and fix it.

Effective

This repositionable adhesive definitely works better on fabric than anything else. I tested it on a couple of different projects. First, a sewing project where I used it to hold down the edge of a ribbon I wanted to sew. For that purpose, it worked great, better than trying to use pins. The other project I tried to test this on was for a paper collage. For paper, this acted basically like regular glue. It was somewhat repositionable (I made sure to follow the instructions on the packaging and let it dry first) but I was gluing paper to paper and it did cause the paper to rip. If you don't follow the instructions and just slap wet glue down, it will act like regular glue and stick permanently. I think if you're looking for repositionable glue for a sewing or fabric project, you'll be satisfied with this. If you think you'll be able to reposition paper, maybe not so much.

Repositionable adhesive works better on fabric

I have never heard of thir specific product for Aleene's but am very familiar and like many of their others. This one was prett decent it does what it says and nothing more which is what you ideally want out of this product. It was easy to use apply etc and went on much like tacky glue does. However this one kinda sticks which is great for temp things like appliqué. It went on nice think and hely the appliqué in place whole is stitched it on. It also wast weirdly stiff or leaving residue. It doesn't vlead through which is impressive as it was pretty thin material. Really glad I got to try this product as I'm not sure I would have picked it up otherwise. Now I will definitely recommend it especially to girl guides sewing on patches or cosplayers working with intricate appliqué.

Great product surprisingly useful.

I really enjoyed using Aleene's TACK-IT Over & Over! It has a good level of stickiness and holds lightweight items securely without being too difficult to remove. I especially like that it's repositionable, so I can move things around and reuse it without leaving a strong, messy residue.
The adhesion is strong enough for small crafts, decorations, and everyday organizing. It's also easy to apply and doesn't require much product.
The only downside is that it may not be strong enough for heavier items, so I wouldn't rely on it for anything that needs a permanent, heavy-duty hold.
Overall, it's a really handy adhesive to have around, especially for crafts and projects where you want a strong but removable hold.

Its functional

I wanted to love this product - what a cool idea! It dries clear and flexible but it's a single use. I made little glue dots as recommended on the back to use for an oversized shirt I like to tuck - I wanted to try to pin it in place with the adhesive. With a few dots it held for a minute MAYBE. Repositionable adhesive is such a cool concept. I had so many ideas for my clothes, but maybe would work best for little bows on holiday decorations/gifts. There's no door, doesn't leave any residue, but just didn't work as I had hoped for the things I tested on.

Cool concept
