This is the Best Automated Lock I've Found

This has worked out great. I'll had add on Smart locks and did not work as well. Z-Wave module work worked flawlessly even in s2 mode. Seems to work really well. The only comment I could add is the Alfred software can be a little bit more intuitive and cleaned up a little bit.

Overall love the lock

Fantastic lock. Easy to setup and integrate with my smart home system (Home Assistant) via Z-wave. The exterior design is very sleek and I love that there is no key slot. Battery life appears excellent as well. Still showing 100% even after several weeks of use.

Fantastic modern lock

The DB2 keyless lock is sleek and functional. This lock looks great on my front door and love that i no longer need to worry about carrying keys. Having Pin codes for each of my family members to see when they come and go is great. Alfred Home app is handy for adjusting settings or checking the status of my door lock.

Great Smart Lock!

I really enjoy not having to bust out keys to open the door. The one-touch feature is really cool because the app notifies you when you enter the zone and you just have to wake the screen up and press it. The lock looks so sleek and modern. I haven't had any issues and I like being noticed through the app when the door has been manually opened from the inside vs. unlocked with the code from the outside. The auto-lock feature got me a bit nervous but it works well too. Just note, if you leave the door open like if you're bringing in groceries or moving furniture the auto-lock feature will still run so the dead bolt will stick out. No issues so far!

Don't hesitate, get it!

Great buy, if you're into smartlocks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The lock is user-friendly, and installation was very easy. The BILT App was very helpful in guiding the install. The app is also great.

Easy to install and user-friendly!

Great product! Very sleek and elegant. I'd give it 5 stars but it's missing a few features. 

1. The coming home feature that unlocks the front door with the geo-fence works but only with the phone that it was setup on. Doesn't work when you add other family members to account.

2. Doesn't have HomeKit support. I new this before buying it but still wish it had this.

Great product!

As far as keyless entry locks go, the Alfred D2 is in my opinion better than average.  I had two Kwikset keyless locks that would often lose connection with my Hubitat hub which would result in some situations when my lock would not lock automatically, as programmed.  I bought one Alfred D2 to try it out and have been very happy with the connectivity, ability to add codes for family and quiet operation.  So, bought a second one for my garage entry to replace the Kwikset and it works just as well for connectivity and automation.  I have the front door programmed to lock after it remains closed for over 5 minutes and the garage to lock after it remains closed for over 15 minutes.  This allows for time to be doing things in the garage while enjoying a longer (and programmable) auto lock time through my home automation system.  What I don't like is the OneTouch unlock is very unreliable and fails much more than it works which is the only thing preventing a 5-star review.  I really wanted this feature to work, making entry from my garage to be much easier than putting an armful of groceries down to push in the unlock code.  So, this is my only complaint and if this is not an important feature for you, the lock is 5-stars. The lock is easy to install, battery life is great, it is quiet and integrated well with my home automation system using the optional Z-Wave module.  Strongly recommended if you don't find the one-touch feature important.
