I was very pleased with the alien rug grips. It was so easy to apply . I normally use the 2 sided tape, The Alien rug grips really kept my scatter rugs locked down 😊

walmart.com

this product works very well. it was easy to put on the carpet and it holds it in place on a hardwood floor. it also is easy to vacuum with it on the rug. my rug is very thin.

rug grips

Was the perfect solution for a runner on hardwood floors. Rug was sliding endlessly until we put the Alien grips in the corners….worked like magic, highly recommend!

Perfect solution

These are absolutely great. We had been struggling with tripping hazards for quite a while, but the Alien Grips have solved our problem.

works great! I used them on a rugs by the entrance and the rugs don't move at all even while I put my shoes on standing on the rugs..I got another box of them so if I needed them on something else I'd have them

The carpet grippers are quite effective at holding rugs in place. However, the down side is that the grippers hold so well that when you go to pull the rug up, the grippers stays on the floor and doesn't pair well with linoleum floors; two tiles came up. Also, there is a residue on the backside of the rug, which eventually comes off after several washes. In sum, the grippers are effective but are only a temporary solution.

I have hardwood floors, and these did not work at all. I bought new rugs throughout my house and just needed something temporary to get the curls out. I've tried several others before, but these are by far the worst. The next day, I ordered a different brand that worked much better and tossed what I had left—total waste of money. It's worth spending a few extra dollars on something else. I wouldn't recommend these at all.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

I had high hopes of using this to help stabilize a 4x5 entry rug inside our house. The adhesive used to attach the pads to the bottom side of the rug worked extremely well and stayed in place. The problems came after I attached the pads (initially using 4 and then up to 6) and put the rug in place. The side of the pads that were against our wood flooring did NOT work at all. The rug still slid across the floor whenever it was walked on or the dogs ran over it. I am very disappointed in this product. I eventually purchased the gorilla rug pad as a replacement, and that has been incredible - actually working as it was advertised to do.
In short, I do NOT recommend this product, as it did not work for me.

Unimpressed

I want to return these. they stuck to my floor I had to pour vinegar on the residue to get it off of my kitchen floor. They did hold the rug in place.

These do not stick good on the hardwood floor. They do not keep the rug down. I do not recommend these for anyone. I returned them. They do not work. Good at all save your money do not buy.
