The 12 L EKG is fine but the web site you go to is confusing and trying to figure out what to do while you are in the middle of an arrhythmia is too complicated. You should be able to open the Kardia site and just tap on 12 L EKG. EXAMPLE. I WAKE UP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT FEELING AN ARRHYTHMIA. I SIT UP IN BED, PUT MY GLASSES ON, GET MY DEVICE OFF THE BEDSIDE TABLE, GET MY PHONE OFF THE BEDSIDE TABLE. OPEN APP. SEARCH FOR EKG START, CONTINUE TO SEARCH. CONT TO SEARCH. OK FINALLY FOUND IT. RECORD. NEEDS TO BE MUCH SMOOTHER WAY.

I have used the first Kardia monitor for years and upgraded to this 6 lead version about a month ago and so far find it helpful. I have intermittent heart rhythm abnormalities and having the 6 lead model allows me to SHOW my doctor what I am experiencing rather than only explaining the feelings. Having the advanced determinations and visual reviews identified a problem that needed attention. I would recommend this monitor to anyone that may have concerns about their own or a family member's health.

After a recent cardiac ablation, this device gives me peace of mind that I am maintaining a normal rhythm, particularly since my atrial fibrillation episodes was asymptomatic

6L Monitor

Upgraded to the 6L after using the original Kardiamobile for almost 3 years. Live in remote area, this device allows me to monitor my heart, forward my EKGs to my own cardiologist for feedback. It sure beats wondering what it happened with your heart and saves many unnecessary trips to get checked out. Definitely not a substitute for seeking medical care, but helps you identify your condition and sometimes monitor at home.

Excellent, cost effective device

As a retired physician, I am amazed at the quality of the 6 lead EKG.
The high quality makes it easy to read,, and much faster than many I obtained in the ER.  Easier to use than a blood pressure monitor. I feel every one should consider buying one to better monitor their health.

High quality

Due to a recent software change in the Kardia Mobile, it is no longer recommended for use by clients like who have Medtronic Advisa pacemakers  as the software can no longer filter out its electronic output during an EKG.
Since I can not use it, I want to return it for a full refund.

Been using the 6L for a week or so and am very happy with it.  The basic function and diagnosis seems pretty accurate.  The doctor's office didn't have high confidence in the traces due to noise, but the results seem to match my state.  It is a little finicky about the contact on my leg, but a little moisture makes it better.  The app really pushes the for-fee services, but isn't obtrusive.

Works Well and Seems Accurate

I bought the Kardia 6 lead device to check some AFib issues that I've been having.  The ad said that no membership was needed to use the device. While technically true, not having the paid membership limits you to about 1/3 of the devices functionality. Sending it back ASAP. Don't like being lied to.

Misleading

I had the simplist Kardia for years. Initially reported SVE PVC etc. Now only three and the rest are unclassified. Upgraded to 6L but only reports 3 diagnosis. If you want more there is a monthly charge.
It's a ripoff. I am a physician. Give me the 6L report.

This is a nice idea to monitor your heart, however, if you have something actually going on with it, you are forced to buy the monthly or annual subscription for different events to report as more than "unclassified" (like PVC, SVE).  The unit should be able to report everything as is, and then if you want the additional services, like the consultations or EKG reads, then people could subscribe for those if desired.  Many people who are buying these units are already working with a doctor, or have worked with one and want to monitor events.  Forcing people to pay or else get "unclassified" for certain determinations seems like a rip off honestly.
