This has worked wonders for us. It holds two adult bikes with no problems. It was simple to install and we used it right after. There are different ways to install. One way blocked the back from being able to open and the other did not, I prefer to be able to open my tailgate on my Jeep.

It works,  but it's not very secure and need backup tethering

Warning, DO NOT BUY! I purchased this item for my Jeep Wrangler to use with two modern road bikes. Out of the box, it looked rather flimsy. After installing on my spare tire, it didn't seem very secure. The way this device works is it 'hooks' onto the top of the tire, then straps to the inside of your tailgate at the bottom. There's actually nothing attaching it securely to your spare tire. As reinforcement, used two of my own ratchet straps to attach the entire device to my spare. Then I hit the road. After about an hour on I-95 I saw the entire device collapse and fold in on itself in my rear view mirror. I was going about 70 mph. I quickly got off the highway and realized the bolts used to secure the bikes in place had been twisted out of form. Additionally, the pins that keep the entire frame locked in place had sprung loose by rubbing against the tire it was attached to (see photos). If I hadn't used my ratchet straps to secure everything, I would have lost the device along with my bikes, sending both careening into the vehicles behind me, potentially injuring other divers. Or worse. I ended up throwing the broken rack in a street side dumpster and using my extra ratchet straps to attach my bikes directly on the roof of my Jeep. Walmart should remove this product from the site to avoid selling something that can cause harm to customers and other drivers.

Fell off on the highway! DO NOT BUY.

It fits. However, you still have to tie it down with bungee cords. And it shifts from left to right on the tire. So, you definitely have to tie it down on both sides to level it out so it will not shift.  After you tie it down, to secure it, with the bungee cords, it works just fine!

Fits 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport

A simple but solid rack. Fits very well with a 245 x 16 tire on a 2000 Dodge van.  Carries one bike very well; have not tried two yet. Easy to assemble and mount

This rack is exactly what I wanted. Something very light, quick and easy to mount. Now I don't have to stuff the bike in back of jeep. Had to buy the bar adapter for the bike though. There wasn't enough room to get the rack between the bars on the mountain Bike . The mount is surprisingly sturdy with no movement.
