Folding mechanism and material are subpar.

Straps may detach or come undone during use.

Lack of clarity leads to potential installation issues.

Can be secure and universal, but also inconsistent across vehicles.

For the price this is a great little bike carrier. I used it for the first time transporting both my bike and my grandson's.  I like that fact that it folds up very compact and is easy to just keep in the back of my car. Easy to set up and and take off of my GMC Terrain. Very hefty and well built.

I was surprised with the quality of this rack. I was expecting low to medium quality, but I was blown away. It feels and looks premium if put on correct. Works as it should. You will need to get something soft to put on the hinges to keep from scratching your vehicle.

Better than expected

I purchased this for our camping trip.  It worked great and was secure.  I like that it folds up compact and it didn't scratch my car.  The long straps that secure it to the car worked great to keep the handle bars from swinging while driving too.  Definitely worth the purchase.

Compact, sturdy, easy to install. Only real limitation us no top hook to vertical glass. Worked great on Toyota Sienna. Check it after driving for 20 minutes or so to tighten any straps that loosened due to settling. My 2-bike load settled a little to the right but rode solid for 1k mile trip.

Allen Bike Rack Satisfies

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] very easy setup. i struggled a bit getting it on the car but once you figure it out,  it's pretty easy to do.

I wish I could have seen a chart of what vehicles this item was best suited to.  The chart is on the back of the box, and it indicates that Nissan's Rogue Sport is NOT one of the recommended applications.  Therefore I have found it rather challenging to securely install it on my vehicle, but I think I have found a way.  As far as the product itself, the construction and material qualities are EXCELLENT.  It is thoughtfully well-designed and constructed of powder-coated heavy gauge tubular steel and fittings.  As a retired product testing technician I do recommend  product.

VERY GOOD PRODUCT FOR A LIMITED NUMBER OF VEHICLES

The instructions were not clear.  Had to check out YouTube for better instructions, as I almost returned this bike rake until the video cleared up some questions.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] didnt fit well on my patriot. didnt seem sturdy enough for 2 bikes. constantly kept checking during my drive to ensire bikes were snug.

PLEASE LOOK UP THE CARS IT FITS! Walmart needs to put a picture online of the products box. It will break down every car make, model and year range that it fits. I'm disappointed because the person who I bought it for is the only Ford that it doesn't fit. Wouldn't have bought it if I knew
