Battery Life

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seems like a good product. I just put them on they seem bright and well made.

The lights are great and very bright. Reviews are saying the lights drain the battery. The solution to that is to purchase a toggle switch. This keeps the battery from draining.

Ok, I have a small little 250cc ninja clone. These lights were incredibly easy to instal, BUT even when not in use they drain the battery.

was fine for about 2 weeks then it started doing weird things with my motorcycle, draining the battery, come home from work and find it in the garage with all the lights on and at times couldn't turn them off. once disconnected decided to send them back.  they were cool while they lasted.

The lights work great and I've ridding through some pretty hard rain, and they hold up well. They work perfect and are bright, but I've had a big issue with mine, ever since I installed them, my battery has been dying every other day or so. I bought a new battery, and same thing, couple days later it was dead. I've been jumpstarting it, and I have a battery charger, but tonight when I was riding, this time without the lights on, they would turn themselves on every 30 minutes or so. And the controller lost all power, so I couldn't turn them off for a minute or so. It appears the signal is easily found by outside sources and they control the lights or something, I've tried the lock button to see if I could lock them off, nope, they would turn themselves right back on 30 minutes later and my remote wouldn't let me turn them off for about a minute after they turned themselves on. This is what I suspect is happening. They are turning themselves on overnight and killing my battery. Maybe they need a more unique signal? One that doesn't get connected to outside sources?. I have this same brand of LEDs in my room, and whenever I turn the tv volume down, the down button turns on my LEDs in my room. Seems like a flaw that can leave a biker stranded.
