I truly love the Alpine Coat.  It fits me to a team.  I got size 2XL due to my large body frame.  The color and material of the coat is beautiful.  I am 6.1 inches tall and the length is perfect.  I can't wait to wear my new coat on the fall and winter months with a colorful wool scarf to compliment it.  Great price for the coat too!

This is definitely an awesome coat. Extremely warm and comfortable, and well made. The pockets are great; you can fit just about anything short of a kitchen sink in them. It wears a little shorter on me than I had hoped, but that's because I'm tall, not the coat's fault. Well worth the money, an excellent purchase.

Great Coat

Bought for my son.  I'm thinking of getting one for myself!  Seems like quality and actually keeps you warm.

This was an excellent purchase. Size was perfect, so do measure and go with chart. Delivery was very quick also, very pleased with all aspects of purchase.

Great Deal

I bought this coat so that I could have a long coat for general, every day wear in the winter months.  I am an old man and my legs get cold, so I needed something to come down to my knees.  This coat does it.  It is inexpensive, but, in my opinion the quality is good.  Seams and buttons are sturdy.  The size does seem to run a bit on the large size with is uncommon for a Chinese made product.  However, running a bit large it accommodates a heavy sweatshirt or sweater very well as well as sports coat, if need be.  I would recommend this to others and would buy it again myself.

Really Good Value

Very happy I found this overcoat for my husband.  He hasn't been well the last couple of years and has lost a lot of weight and is always cold. I was afraid I wouldn't find an overcoat for him this late in the season. For the price (was marked down), it was everything stated in the ad and more. Looks much more expensive and fits my husband very nicely.

Alpine Swiss Men's Wool Top Coat

This coat fits beautifully on my husband; the size runs big which is good because he wears a suit jacket underneath.  The delivery was quick - 2 days.  The style is fashionable, I ordered in his regular size, XL, my husband is 6'2" and the coat falls right at his knees.

Beautiful style

I ordered medium because the reviews said to order smaller.  I'm 5'9, 150lbs and anyone would have said it fit me perfectly but when I raised my arms straight out in front of me the sleeves ran up to my elbows.  So I reordered XL and although the body is kinda baggy at least the sleeves are long enough to tuck my hands into them like a turtle's head in its shell.  I always wear XL coats for that reason and would have bought that size the first time if I hadn't read the reviews that mislead me.  The XL length is perfect too... landing right below my kneecaps.  The medium was just above my knees, which seemed a bit short for a trenchcoat.

I have an XL down coat that I wear over the trenchcoat and according to the tape measure the sleeves on the medium trenchcoat are longer than the XL down coat, but in practice the medium trenchcoat sleeves are much shorter.  So measuring your coat to compare with the chart isn't necessarily going to be a good guide.  If I were to give advice I'd say to concentrate on choosing the right sleeve length and nevermind the rest.

Other than that it's a pretty nice coat.  When I'm riding my ATV it covers my legs which is nice.  Although it's wool it's not too warm or itchy even when working.  The pockets leave a bit to be desired since I pushed my finger right though the bottom of one without any effort.  Oh well the rest of the coat seems durable enough.  I'd recommend it to anyone on a utilitarian basis who isn't trying to win a fashion show.
