This is a super easy way to turn an older receiver into a blue-tooth capable receiver.  This is our second purchase of the same device.  The other one lasted 3-4 years with continual use.

Did exactly what it advertised to do

The product is good, and works as intented

Sadly no charging block included. The charging cord could be longer. It doesn't work when I'm charging mode. Battery life last a while. Doesn't automatically turn off if signal disconnects for a long time. Have to manually turn on and off.

Good for what you need it for

Works well, as long as your streaming device remains close to the receiver.

The unit I received makes a loud popping sound whenever the music stops, starts or skipping songs. While the music is playing it is fine, but the popping is unsatisfactory. I also have an ikross IKBT12 that I also purchased from Walmart and it does not do this at all. I emailed the manufacturer (Aluratek) to find out if they would warranty it or if I should just return to Walmart, and they did not respond for 5 days, so I called them. The person said to email them my receipt and they will send me an RMA #. I sent them the receipt and they requested me to try it with a different device than my phone (Lumia 920). Since I use my phone with Bluetooth stereo headphones and the ikross with no problems, and because I bought this to use with my phone, I did not see how that would resolve the problem. I did, however, try it with an iPad 3 and it exhibited the same popping (like unplugging a hot mic) between audio streams. Aluratek wrote back and confirmed that the unit pops between streaming (between albums) but not between songs of the same album. I found it to pop between every song (using a playlist which changes albums), or after hitting Pause or Play. They said if it doesn't work for me, return it to Walmart. Therefore, I'm planning to return this to Walmart and get another brand (probably ikross).
