Works wonders for my back that has patches of really dry alligator skin. A few applications of this Amlactin and it clears it right up for a while. Only lotion so far I have found that is a gentle exfoliating one. I put it on every evening when I have breakouts. Always keep a few bottles of it in my bathroom cabinet.

This is an excellent product. Recommended by my husband's dermatologist for dry skin on his legs, we now use it for our feet, too. Best, most effective daily moisturizer we've used for very dry skin.

Excellent and Effective Moisturizer

Im a medium hue Black woman with strawberry legs. So far, this lotion looks like its actually working. I absolutely do NOT like the smell HOWEVER, the smell isnt gag inducing and Im the smell goes away fast. I would definitely buy again and again.

My dermatologist recommended this for an age spot on my cheek that was raised up and had spread out and gotten dark.  I had it at least a year. It had a 1/4 inch circumference. I used Amlactin everyday for 2 weeks and the raised up area disappeared. My cheek is smooth in that area and only has a light color to left. I was so happy with the results! Try this! Whatever exfoliation ingredient in this really worked.

Awesome Exfoliator for Rough Spots!

got this after seeing it be recommended for kp. so far it's done great at smoothing out the bumps!! hopefully with a few more weeks of continuous use it will even out the red color too. my only complaint is the smell. it smells like when you crack open a new can of pillsbury strawberry icing, in the worst way possible. and because of the questionable scent i just put it on after i shower and head straight to bed. but i love this product otherwise and would definitely recommend for kp or strawberry or chicken skin!

I have Keratosis Pilaris on my legs and purchased this lotion to clear it up. It helps A LOT. It's a little pricey and smells weird (a little like urine), but it has given me results that other lotions have not. It must be used consistently and it takes a few weeks for results.  I stopped using it because I couldn't find it in stores and my KP returned.

Great product

This was recommended by my dermatologist.  It does wonderful.  It plumps your skin.  Especially good for older thin skin.

My husband had ultra dry and flaky skin on his legs and feet. His dermatologist told him about Amlactin and after using two bottles of it, there was a huge difference. His skin is smooth with no flaking. Highly recommend this product. I am going to try it for the wrinkly skin on my arms next.

Amazingly This Product Creates Smooth Skin

I've tried every lotion on the market for treating keratosis pilaris (KP), and nothing worked. Almost gave up trying when I heard about this product. I didn't expect it to work quickly, but after just a few days I noticed a significant reduction in both roughness and the reddish-purple spots on my arms and legs. The formula does smell a little strange at first, but once it's completely dry I couldn't smell it anymore. Unlike other lotions, it absorbed well, instead of staying on top of the skin like a tacky coating. This is my go-to from now on!!

Worked for KP when nothing else did!

I'm trying products to help with the appearance of bumps on  upper-arm skin.  The bumps  have a tiny, pimple-like appearance, but are not pimples--at 60, I'm definitely past the zit stage.  The arm skin became dry, thin, and sensitive, so exfoliating scrubs are out.

The first bump cream I used did well and approved skin appearance .  However, after drying, it flaked off, leaving the flakes on clothes, sheets, etc.       

Then, I tried Amlactin.  It  appeared suitable for sensitive skin.  Unfortunately,  the lotion ITCHES.   Really ITCHES!

 I stopped using Amlactin and bought the original bump cream used.
