Ugh, this clay not very manageable. The clay itself is very stiff and not what I expected. The color is great but just is not up to AMACO standards. I received the white (from AMACO sold by another company) and it was very manageable and soft but this terracotta takes a lot of time to get it to roll out stage. It came in a much bigger box than needed so the clay box was dented, rippled and part of the clay was dried out.

The Terracotta is very stiff to use

I tried 4 different projects with this clay. All of them broke like soft chalk. first i had a frame in the clay, it cracked and crumbled off. secondly i used mesh, again it cracked and crumbled. last 2 times i tried making bowls, both times the broke while i was either drying it or painting it.
