Works well so far - only has been a few weeks.  Although, must say that the heater should come with a thermostat - found it odd actually having to buy this thing

Great thermostat

When I first plugged in the thermostat plug it did not seem to work. :(  I said, Oh well and went on with other activities, leaving the unit plugged in. Suddenly my heater came on. I checked the temperature and turned it down a little and eventually got it set at 18 degrees Celsius. I figured out that by holding the unit for a few minutes, I had raised it's temperature but once it returned to room temperature it worked perfectly. Great unit!!

Much better than expected

Feels solid and is easy to use. There is a switch at the back (use it for a heater or an air conditioner).

It is important to buy this thermostat to go with the amaze heater because the switch on the heater will go only after a few years of switching it on and off. With this thermostat there is no need to touch the switch on the heater

Heater plug thermostat

Have couple of amaze heaters with thermastat plugs and have never had a problem with plugs until went to use and heard clicking sound so had to unplug.  Think maybe shouldnt have left it plugged in when turned heater off throughout spring and summer months.  Will unplug from now on when have heaters turned off for long time

I bought this about a year ago and if worked fine, the temperature's were inaccurate so I had to fiddle around with the dial until I got the temperature I wanted (eg. if I wanted the room to be at 22 degrees celsius, I would have to set the dial to 25 degrees celsius). It's been a year now and the product has begun to malfunction...even when the light is red (meaning the heater should be off), my heater would turn on (frequently too). I would put the dial up to 30 degrees celsius and the light would turn green (on), I'd put the dial back down to say 25 and the light would turn red (off) and the heater would turn off for a few seconds before turning back on (the light is red though)...I'm not sure how to fix this and it's making my room extremely warm for being on so often...I'll have to buy a new plug in thermostat which isn't great since they're so expensive...
