Got this a Christmas gift and it is awesome! 

It is very easy to install, central interface works great, and even the app works too.

Interacting with the central interface is a bit challenging at first, but once you get used to the way it operates, it's not so bad.

It was a bit intimidating at first. But, just follow the directions to a T, be patient, and it'll be a great addition for weather enthusiats.

If I were to give a demerits, it would be the all-in-one unit.  Ideally, the wind vane and anemometer should really be mounted as high up as possible, namely attached to a chimney if possible.  With this being an all-in-one unit, you're giving up accuracy for one thing, for full accuracy for another.  Example: The wind vane and anemometer are also attached to the thermometer.  The thermometer will be inaccurate when attached to a chimney, while the anemometer will be fully accurate.  When mounted in the yard, the thermometer will be accurate because of no radiant heat from the roof, while the anemometer is not quite getting the full gusts of wind like it would being attached higher up.

So placement is key for this unit.  You need to find a spot where it's far enough away from houses and trees to get wind accuracy, but close enough so that the thermometer is still transmitting information to the central interface all while avoiding radiant heat.

But otherwise, it's been a great addition and I'm enjoying it so far!

Ambient Weather makes great products, durable and accurate. There is room for improvement in the setup process, and a better display screen would nice.

Great weather station

Only issue I had was that I had to get my phone to disconnect from 5ghz and connect to 2ghz for the app to connect the display to the internet.   After the display was connected to the internet on 2ghz everything has worked fine.

After setting up the Wi-Fi, I like the ability to read the weather station data when not on location. The instructions for setting up the Wi-Fi could be improved. Also, there was no instruction to wait to calibrate the atmospheric pressure for the first month. I called support twice and I was very pleased to the interaction. Both individuals gave very clear, easy to understand directions. When I did not understand or correctly follow the directions, they were very patient with me.

Very good weather station for the home or business

This weather station has many weather readings and is easy to install and set up. I like that it has wifi so I can see the readings on my phone.

this thing was definitely not easy to put together a billion in one pieces, but it works really good and it's accurate. I would definitely get it for your house. it's worth the money

Great tool.  Only issue is documentation on connecting to wifi. Very helpful tech support had me turn off mobile internet and disable 5gHz channel on router.  Then ws-2902c was able to connect to router.  Also, docs are not up-to-date.

Could use better docs

I bought this searching for higher end unit than my previous weather station.  It advertised a longer range which it has.  Other than this, the quality is cheap.  The parts remind me of the model cars I built as a kid where you snapped the parts out of the plastic mold.  The wind measurement is accurate only at higher speeds.  While my old unit is registering wind, this unit isn't spinning at all. If you're looking for good quality, this isn't it.
