Need to buy batteries for this item but what kind?

I love being able to listen to cassette tape a that I have

small but perfect for what i wanted to use it for. Thanks

it was very late by a week I wasn't going to purchase any more over The line but there's stuff that I had to get so I'll see what happens

I just got the GPX Cassette Player and recorder, PRC257B and tried it.  Everything worked but after recording, I played the cassette back; I could hardly hear what was recorded because of the scratchy and squealing sounds from the machine recording it.  I will be returning this machine.  I am very disapointed!

Too noisy to hear recording.

Would not record what I needed it to record - mainly my neighbor's tv so I could prove to landlord.  There was just a bunch of static.  I returned it.

Not what I needed.

I've owned cassette recorders before.I was very disappointed in the quality of this product.It is so light weight and fragile.When I pressed the record button it was noisy, and the button wouldn't stay down.

Poor quality. I don't need it often, and found out recently that the power supply has died. It worked for about two hours. Buy something else; this is not worth the money.
