Two holes had not been drilled in one of the support pieces.  I was able to easily drill them out and the rest of assembly was easy.  The desk is as described, and I am very pleased with the purchase.

Damaged box/punctured table top. Awaiting new top

Looks nice but the top is like a pressed foam that can't handle weight or the tiniest amount of moisture. Even if you wipe it immediately it absorbs & begins to warp. Item is lightweight when all built so easy to move.
