A Wonderful Book!!

The book does not oversimplify or baby down the recipes.  It is written appropriately for young children.  It has a lot of pictures, and step by step directions.  Very good commentary.  A problem I usually encounter when looking at kids cook books is that the recipes are what people think kids eat, a bunch of snack food or junk food.  Similarly, they try to oversimplify the recipe or add too many shortcut ingredients.  This has none of that, it is easy to follow, but the recipes are good and healthy, and everyone in my family enjoys them.  My 13 year old was very excited to make the lasagna from scratch by herself, and it turned out better than mine and better that my husband's.
