its a great very tough puller well worth the  money

Bought the puller to use when/if I get stuck in my Jeep. Looks to be much more useful than a typical come along. I have no doubt that the puller could adequately pull/drag a small vehicle. Reworked the cotter keys to remove sharp edges. Plan on using leather gloves when using a cable puller. This puller meets my expectations.

Some teeth are very shallow and two of them can not stop and skip, so you have to move two teach each time which is very very difficult. The metal looks as soft as aluminum, after three or four use, the teeth are dull and stopper were broken!!

poor quality

Even though this cable puller is ruggedly built it has a safety issue. Specifically, the cotter wire pins used to secure major function bolts have the sharp ends bent away from the frame making it very easy for the user to cut their hand or wrist.
The cotter wire pins should be replaced with safety wire pins or better.

Additionally, the operator instructions are very poor.

For the price of this cable puller there is no way I am going to pay for such a haphazard design and workmanship. Additionally, it weighs 28 pounds. Walmart should have stated the weight in their sales spill.
I returned the cable puller and look for a better design and workmanship.
