Set Up

Windows

This is my first ground blind and seems to be good quality. Not big enough for two bow hunters and gear, could fit two rifle hunters though, it's light weight compared to carrying a tree stand. Sets up easy once you have done it a couple of times, would practice before heading to the woods. The mesh windows have Velcro which is noisy to undo, going to modify mine so they are easier to open and quiet, don't trust the shoot through and really don't want to shoot holes in the mesh. Overall a good blind for the money if you get it on sale.

took a few minuets to figure out how to start " popping " this thing up...sprang to life quickly.
zipper is a bit loud....very well constructed and simple to use. my son an i fit fine with gear and stools.

Great blind

The Blind is perfect, but I didn't receive it on time. It came 3 days after Christmas and I did pay the extra shipping. The Camillus knife came on time, which was a little strange, that as I watched the tracking on them one item went in one direction and the other went in another direction. Otherwise no problems

Blind for my son

I bought this 4 years ago and use it a few times every deer and turkey season. It has held up very well (no rips or tears) and is very easy to set up and break down. Only takes a couple of minutes by yourself. It can hold two large adults with gear when needed. Windows are Velcro which can be loud but aside from that it's great. Highly recommended.

Exactly what I was looking for.

I ordered this blind because in the description it said it had the shoot through mesh with gun ports, even though this didn't match the photo I took a chance. After receiving the package and setting up the blind I realized it didn't have the gun ports as described. I then did some research and discovered this is the older brickhouse model, the newer Model #2119, had the gun ports. I decided to send this one back and get the newer one since I was still impressed with it overall. I will comment that it was easy to set and I believe it will conceal movement well with the mesh and screens. It did smell so it will need to sit out for a few days to air out.

Not a bad blind. Tricky to put up at first. Of course I've only done it twice, once at home and once on top of my quad pod in the woods. Held up to a pretty nasty storm with me in it. Needs one more window beside the door. That's the one place the deer came too but that was probably just my luck. Not bad for the money but i'm probably going to keep my eyes open for a 5'x5' that will fit my quad pod, that is a little better designed in the windows. They seemed a little smaller than I want.

Ok for the money.

Well built blind for a reasonable price. Took me about 5 minutes to put up. And the deer were coming in to feed within hours all around it. The hub design is the way to go. Have had a few other ground blinds in the past & took a good 30 minutes to put together. The only negative I can see to the design would be that there is no strip around outside to help with brushing it in that some other models I have had in the past offered. But it is diffinitely worth the price. Room for 2 rifle hunters but only enough room for a single bow hunter.

This was a decent blind for the money. One of the corner tie downs came apart while setting up though this really was minor for me.

Good blind for the money

The blind is good for the price. If you are bow hunting it is a bit small for two people, but fine with two rifle hunters. It goes up and comes down very easily. There are quite a bit of pin sized holes in the fabric, but it still managed to keep the water out during a heavy rain. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is due to the fact it has a heavy plastic smell. I have left it in the woods for two weeks and sprayed it down several times and I cannot get the smell to go away. If I can smell it then the deer can smell it.

Good blind

The front window does not fit no matter what you do. It is too small. None of the windows have port holes in them like my previous Brickhouse blind. I don't understand? Needless to say I am very disappointed.

This is my second Brickhouse blind.
