I bought this same exact Ames hose reel back in 1997 and wanted to replace it with an identical product. I searched for months and finally found it at Walmart.com. It was a great price and was delivered very fast. I removed the old one and installed it in about 15 minutes. I am very pleased with the quality, pricing, and delivery. I fully expect to get another 20  years of service from this.

Bought this unit to replace existing identical unit that was installed maybe 20 years ago. Nothing wrong with old unit other than it was looking weathered. Impressive.

Great item!

This is a very practical product and is easy to use.  I had an older one which lasted for at least 7 years, since I purchased this home and it probably was in use a long time before I purchased.  The only problem after all that time was a leak in the slip fitting.  So I was happy to  replace it with another exact copy because I was so pleased with the previous one.

Reel Easy 2388340

The reel is relatively easy to assemble and the instructions are very clear.  The screws were made out of aluminum and not very sturdy (not phillips head)  so I used screws from the reel that I was removing.  The track for the hose connecting to the faucet only goes to the right so it assumes you want to install it to the left of the faucet.  I didn't want it placed to the left close to my electrical box so the hose inconveniently doubles back under the hose reel and somewhat interferring with it.
