For Recipes

Offers affordable options compared to similar products.

Ideal for small kitchen spaces and daily use.

Offers clean design, but can be smaller than expected.

Allows for easy stacking and comfortable holding.

This is a nice measuring cup. It has very clear graduations with standard cup measurements and metric measurements. The glass is very clear and is pretty thick. I feel it could take regular bumping around in the kitchen. It is still glass so I would not recommend dropping it on a hard kitchen floor.

Very clearly marked

walmart.com

This is a really cute, sturdy measuring cup with a nice thick handle and easy to read measurements. I wanted a 1 cup measurer because it's hard to be exact in smaller increments like 1/4, or 1/3 cup with my 2-cup measurer. Thank you again, Anchor Hocking!

Nice sturdy measuring cup.

I bought a three set of three different size set of these from Walmart and darn. I broke a lot of the smallest woman by accident so I went online to see if they had just one of those and they did and I ordered it and I need these measuring cups I do a lot of cooking and I need to make measure things so thanks so much Walmart.

I thought I loved this cup when I bought it. A little over 6 months later we wake up to a completely shattered glass measuring cup. We have no idea why and had never put in a dishwasher. Our dishes are washed by hand. It was bought at Walmart in Hickory, North Carolina.

A Single Cup Measuring Cup

This cup has a manufacturing defect in the glass which resulted in a stress crack forming. I noticed the crack when it grew to about 4 inches long so I stopped using the cup before it completely shattered. My original Anchor Hocking lasted over 25 years of constant use before the measurement markings finally wore off. This one didn't last 2 weeks. Will return.

Product Quality

Picked it up. Brought it home. Hand washed and dried it. Set it on the counter. Six hours later, when about to use it, while standing less than 2 feet from it, it violently EXPLODED ... just like a bomb. It was new, never used, empty, just on the kitchen countertop. Very frightening, and extremely dangerous. Glass shards everywhere in a 15-foot radius.

Spontaneously EXPLODED LIKE A BOMB

I thought it odd that this cup appeared shaped differently than my 2 other, older clear glass measuring cups, so I tested it 2 ways:

I filled the new cup to the 1/2 cup line and poured it into my older cup and the water level was ABOVE the 1/2 cup line.

I emptied and dried both cups and filled the old cup to the 1/2 cup line and poured it into the new cup and the water level was BELOW the 1/2 cup line.

Ironically, both cups were made by Anchor Hocking!

This should have been tested by the manufacturer before selling this defective product!

Incorrect measuring lines on cup

Four days after purchasing it shattered. It was sitting on a shelf with nothing around it. I have no idea how thick glass could shatter without an impact or temperature change.

Dangerous

How did these items get through Anchor Hocking's quality control department? How did these items get picked by the Walmart employees who fulfilled the curbside order?

Silkscreen impossible to read measurements

shattered in the dishwasher before i could even use it
