I absolutely love my Anchor Hocking 1‑Cup Glass Measuring Cup with Easy‑Grip Handle and Spout — it's one of those small tools that makes everyday cooking and baking so much easier! Simple, Reliable %26 Kitchen‑Essential!

This measuring cup is just what I was looking for, and I had to look high and low to find one. For some strange reason, a glass one cup measuring cup is not so readily available. Plastic ones are. Most of the glass measuring cups are either 2 cups or 4 cup and even though I looked everywhere, the last place I looked was Walmart. They also had in addition to carrying this item, a blow my mind super low below, all prices, price. And the ease of pick up without shopping at the store was so nice and easy to use. Never had to leave my car.

I have an old Anchor Hocking in which the red lines wore off. It said in the ad that the line will not wear off because of a certain process they used. We will see if that is true. If not I will change my review. I did decided to not put it into the dishwasher and maybe that will help.

anchor hocking has been around for a long time with quality products. this measuring cup is no different. the glass measuring cups retain their measure gradients, whereas the plastic ones wear off. I would purchase this item again. glasses heavier than plastic if that is a concern otherwise measuring cup is great.

I got this at a discount about 50%-60% off, so I purchased it and I definitely love the quality and for buying it under $5 bucks. It's amazing, hopefully it works really well in the kitchen. It is a little bit heavy but still the quality feel like something that should cost three or four times what I purchased it for.

Great value at a discount for glass measuring cup

I bought a three set of three different size set of these from Walmart and darn. I broke a lot of the smallest woman by accident so I went online to see if they had just one of those and they did and I ordered it and I need these measuring cups I do a lot of cooking and I need to make measure things so thanks so much Walmart.

I was looking around for a pyrex bowl when I saw these measuring cups for less than 4 bucks each!
Great deal, so I grabbed 2 one cups and 2 two cup measuring cups.
These last a lifetime unless you drop them.
The markings don't wear off, I don't know what people do with their measuring cups to have that be a consistent complaint?
Perhaps they are a less known brand or knock off, but these are one of the gold standards of the industry.
I'm not saying I'd pay the 25 bucks they say they normally charge, but when they're on sale on line, heck yeah, I'm getting extras for my kids, family and friends, the classics never go out of style, and these are a high quality, indispensable item that every kitchen needs.

Kitchen staple

I tried to microwave cheese dip in a bowl and burnt my hand. Pyrex quality glass but better price. Now I can pour my queso dip all over my tortilla chips and home made beans! Second good use; I microwave 1/4 cup whole milk 30 seconds, add 2 Tablespoons of sugar. Hand held milk frother until whipped real good! Awesome with coffee! Walmart sells Keurig frother for $15. Highly recommend. Be prepared to make a mess until you get used to Kuerig frother.

Microwave Queso Cheese Dip!

I ordered the twin pack on sale it was less expensive then a single from competitor. Anchor Hocking  has always been my second favorite Glassware Company. Quality at a fair price cannot go wrong.

Twice the bang for the buck

You can still trust this brand Anchor Hocking, top rate quality dishware.  It's the brand that remember from my childhood. It was in  my grandma's house and Auntie house too.  Considered it fine china...

Picked it up. Brought it home. Hand washed and dried it. Set it on the counter. Six hours later, when about to use it, while standing less than 2 feet from it, it violently EXPLODED ... just like a bomb.  It was new, never used, empty, just on the kitchen countertop.  Very frightening, and extremely dangerous.  Glass shards everywhere in a 15-foot radius.
